Yinnan

Yinnan was interested in blacksmithing from an early age. He knew that people would likely question him as a blacksmith due to being an elf, but he was stubborn enough that he basically forced his way into an apprenticeship. The blacksmiths repeatedly told him that he would be better off going into something else, maybe jewelry making, but he insisted that he wanted to learn to make blades. He eventually proved his worth and began his apprenticeship. Two years into his apprenticeship, the blacksmith took on a second apprentice, a half orc named Belotur. Right from the start, Belotur was rude and demeaning to Yinnan, but he refused to acknowledge the half-orc's behavior. Eventually Belotur came around and the two became friends. They worked together to improve their skills and eventually decided to open a business together, Fire Brand Blade Smith. Belotur's parents were not accepting of him going into business with an elf, leaving him homeless. Yinnan's family took him in and the rest is history. The two of them grew their business until they were able to open up a secondary store in the Travelers Market  Since Belotur's death, Yinnan has officially retired from blacksmithing, though he does sometimes work in other forges for custom orders. He says that the forges in their workshop remind him too much of his friend.
