Basic Information
Anatomy
Elves have similar anatomy and morphology to men, with two arms and legs, along with also having 206 bones. Unlike other elves, Wood Elves have smaller leg bones than men.
Biological Traits
Wood Elves are the shortest of the elven races and also have the highest muscle mass. They have the longest arms with the most muscle, this helps with their great archery ability.
Genetics and Reproduction
Wood Elves reproduce via the same method as other elves, except they gestate for 10 months (the shortest of the elven races) before live birth. Wood Elves also have the highest fertility rate of the elven races.
Growth Rate & Stages
Wood Elves age the fastest of all the elven races and like the others have no real puberty period. They are considered physically mature at age 41 but not adults until 47 years. They are considered middle-aged at 91 years, and old aged at 180 years.
Ecology and Habitats
Wood Elves live in a huge forest near the centre of Erilel called The Great Forest. They prefer the dense forest regions and usually stick the woods, even in the other provinces.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Wood Elves prefer to eat mostly greens with a small portion of forest birds and small mammals for proteins.

Social Structure
Wood Elves live under the Wood Lord of the Court of Elves and have a quite equal society. As both male and female wood elves can hunt and fight they are not seen as any different than each other. As Elmawood is divided into tribal groups under the Wood Lord, these small tribes are ruled by lesser lords referred to as Viscounts.
Geographic Origin and Distribution
Most Wood Elves live in the central province of Elmawood and the surrounding forests. They also live in smaller tribes in the other provinces forests.
Average Intelligence
Many of the other races on Erilel, besides the Light Elves, call the Wood Elves the smartest of the races, as they have been able the carve out a living in the hostile environment of Elmawood and have to be very inventive to do such a thing.
Perception and Sensory Capabilities
Wood Elves have the best sight of all the elves, with a small amount of night vision. They unfortunately also have the lowest sensitivity to magic.
