Tóliah

Tóliah is a nomadic tribe of Centaurs that call The Valley of Song their home. A Spiritual people who focus on their praise of Vitalia, they seek to find peace with nature and the world around them. They move from place to place, finding a new home before they exhaust the land of its resources. The one permanent home they have, Aloah-Tow, is where their migrations start and end every year.

Structure

The Tribe is led by a group known as The Raven Eyes, a group of elders who have a strong spiritual connection and have experienced many migrations. The leader of the Raven Eyes is the head of state and is voted upon by the other elders.

Culture

The people of this tribe put a lot of focus on respect towards nature. Hunting is kept to a minimum and farming is done in a way that lets the land rest between seasons. Because of this, there is not much produce that is made and sold by the country, leaving its industry levels very low.

History

After the collapse of the first age and the gods locking themselves behind the divine gates, the Tóliah people dedicated their lives to fixing the land they lived upon. They planted new trees, grass, and cleaned rivers. They chose, rather than to rebuild their previous nation which was more traditional, to return to a life of simplicity. Over the years they have managed to survive, despite being surrounded by nations that might wish to expand further.
