Tywysog Heliwr (Two-Eye-Sog)
The Last Heliwr (a.k.a. Twy)
Wandering in from the Outlands, Tywysog Heliwr's appearance at late Harry's funeral was the first in many years.
Last seen turning his back on the family that raised him within the The Empire of the Rune Keepers, Tywysog seems to have finally found a purpose and direction.
Origins
Raised in the The Empire of the Rune Keepers by an Elven family, Tywysog knew very little about his past. A sealed scroll was all he had from his former life. As much as Tywysog has tried, he's never been able to open the scroll.
Tywysog knew he was different to everyone else, but his Mother (Venhana) and Father (Tramyar) would never speak to him about his past. As he began to hit puberty, Ty's heritage became more apparent. As much as he looked like an Elf, he was only Half-Elf by blood. By age 16, Tywysog decided that he'd had enough of hiding in the shadows to avoid the sideways looks and judgemental gazes. He packed up his belongings, grabbed his scroll and left the place he'd called his home for the last 14 years. Without a word of a goodbye, Tywysog headed for the Outlands to live the life in the wild he felt calling him.
Time In The Wild
During his time in the Outlands, Ty learned to live off of the land. His hunting ability with both knife, and bow, were perfected. His ability to stalk his prey whilst hidden in the shadows, whilst initially laughable, made Tywysog a master of being unseen. Sometimes, berries, rabbits and deer weren't enough to satisfy Ty's desire. Because of this, he engaged in trade with the many Trade Caravans which made their way through the Outlands between cities and towns. Through engaging with these trades, Ty managed to pick up a handful of additional languages to add to his native Elvish. He became proficient in Undercommon, Common and Dwarvish. Upon waking on his 18th Birthday, Tywysog felt different...
he checked his surroundings, but everything seemed to be in its place.
Everything except his scroll.
It had rolled onto the floor... opened. Tywysog rushed to his feet and went to gather his scroll. He glanced at the scroll's text , it was written in Elvish. But it was also still being written.
Last Of His Tribe
"You are ours. We are yours. The legacy of our tribe will live
on through you."
The scroll tells the history of Tywysog's people. A Nomadic Tribe who took their rests within the safety of forests. Until the day that he was found.
The Heliwr Tribe were taking a rest from travelling and chose to setup camp within the Forest Of Mist on the border of the Runekeeper Empire. Days went by and they were enjoying their quiet and peaceful rest.
The Sixth day began with a start. A barrage of arrows rained down upon the campsite. A small army rushed from the trees and ambushed the Heliwr Tribe. Parents rushed to protect their children; Farmers to protect their livestock.
Tywysog, it would seem, was the only survivor of this massacre. His Druid parents put Ty and the scroll in a basket and called upon their Direwolf familiar. They placed the basket and instructed the Direwolf to "Run", and run it did.
Without fully knowing, the Direwolf was running towards the Runekeeper Empire. After running for what seemed like hours, it stopped, placed the basket at the side of the road and laid down curled around the basket.
This is where Tywysog was found, but this isn't the end of his story. At the bottom of the scroll is a family tree, "Tywysog Heliwr" is the last name.
Tyw's Questions
What happened to his family?
Why were they attacked?
Who attacked them?
Did anyone else survive?
Tywysog must uncover the truth, and with it, ensure the name of the Heliwr Tribe takes its rightful place in Legend.
Appearance
Unlike many of Elven ancestry, Tywysog chooses to keep his hair short. There's nothing worse than your hair getting in your eyes anyway. Speaking of eyes, Ty's are a piercing shade of Emerald Green which are made to look even more striking as they contrast with his pale, white skin.
Tall and lean, Tywysog doesn't cast an intimidating shadow, but it's his skills with weaponry and the ability to go unseen that sets him apart.
