The Willow, Leanne
Goddess of Joy and Spring
While Wayra blows in the wind that carries spring through the world, Leanne spreads the rain that allows Spring to progress. She watches over the wildlife, so animals may raise their young in peace. Rambunctious and fun-loving, the Little Spring is best known for her desire to discover wonder and delight in everything around her.
She prefers to take on the form she was born in; a young Moon Rabbit with hooves rather than clawed feet and small antlers from which spring flowers bloom. Wherever she walks, flowers blossom at her feet.
Clergy
The Willow is not associated with a religious belief system of her own, but she answers the prayers of her clerics and faithful. She is part of the triad of gods that comprise The Wild Hunt and the dyad associated with The Big Mother. People may also pay tribute to the Willow as a way to get Leverett’s favor. Be careful what you pray for, as the Willow’s youthful mind can misinterpret complex or ill-specified prayers.

Tenets of Faith
- Those who devote themselves to the Willow emphasize the importance of bringing joy to communities. Faithful may be involved in community theater, charity work, toymaking, or any other activity that leads to others’ happiness. The WIllow teaches that by spreading joy to others in their dark hours, others will bring happiness to you in your dark hours.
- Destroying precious objects, upsetting others, and harming innocents are certain ways to draw the Willow’s disappointment. People who lose the Willow’s favor may experience anhedonia or strife.
- The Willow usually gains clerics through one of two primary mechanisms: the individual prays and asks her very nicely to become her cleric or she notices how many clerics the other gods have and wants to feel included so she picks a mortal that she has deemed "good enough".

Other Information
- The WIllow has been a child for a few thousand years but is very slowly aging. When she first became a god, she mentally and physically approximated a 6-year-old. Now she resembles a 12-year-old.
- Leanne was sired by Ogden and a mortal moon rabbit. Ogden sought to bestow godhood on this demigod, his favored daughter. However, the child screamed and cried at the prospect of living for an eternity without her mother. Adar took pity and allowed mother and child to ascend together.
- Many, many stories tell of the WIllow bounding off in search of fun and exploration. This invariably leads to the spread of joy and happiness, but her recklessness also gets her into trouble. The Willow’s detractors say that her misadventures cause misfortune in the world (drought, spontaneously dead crops, livestock birthing complications) due to her mother's attention being diverted to searching for her daughter.
