Lowren - Tribe of the Barracuda

The Tribe of the Barracuda is one of the two fishing communities of Nehalenor, which settled on the coast of the Blackwater. The Lowren tribe hunt on the eastern coast of Nehalenor, plying the dangerous waters with their boats and larger rafts. The tribe migrates following the alternation of tides, sometimes camping in coastal caves, sometimes under the shelter of the trees.

Lowren hunters are the most bloodthirsty of the Narmiron elves, once they've set their sights on prey, they won't let it go.

In the Second Era of Utea, it was the Barracuda tribe that built a beautiful and powerful fleet for the Narmiron elves, and with which they defeated and sank the Segai ships that came to Utea at the beginning of the Second Era so that the Beastman could not attack the more distant lands from the direction of the ocean. The fleet was then used for commercial purposes before Shonla decided the Narmiron community would withdraw from the continent's war. The fleet is understood to have been destroyed - either by order of the priestesses or obliterated by the Naetneth currents.
