The lord of the town Mullay is a haughty Velian nobleman. He and his small family rule over the walled town and its surrounding territory. Lord Obermas regularly makes a practise of his noble hobbies of fox hunting and parlour games, both of which he enjoys with a collection of friends among the noble circles of the town.

Personal history

Lord Obermas grew up in Velia before there was any real tension between them and the Empire of Lowvire. When they invaded, Rhynn was a Velian loyalist and initially refused to offer ground to the Lowvires as they marched down Vedenhale' valley. This changed when they came knocking at Mullay's gates. With vastly inferior forces against a foe of such great repute, Rhynn willingly turned the town over tot he Empire, much to the dismay of some of the nobility of the town.

During the bookkeeping from the annexxing of Meseline, Rhynn was allowed to continue ruling the town but under imperial juristiction with the warning that he'd be under close inspection as he had been a loyal Velian for the early stages of the war.

Failures & Embarrassments

The Velian's view of Lord Obermas was shattered when he surrendered the town of Mullay to the empire. Doing so didn't really affect the empire's opinion, but it did make it easier to continue marching through Vedenhale.
