Government

Cloudback Keep

Standing in the centre of the city and the waypoint that the entire city was built to serve, Cloudback Keep is an intimidating fortress that houses the central government of Mullay. Including the Lord Rhynn Obermas and accomodation for the Baroness Conscia Veruth if and when she is not currently in her local estate.

The Baron's Estate

Baroness Conscia Veruth owns a small manor a few miles out of the city of Mullay. Its entrance is subtle and easy to miss on the riverside road, but inside its gates is an impeccably well kept garden and a building of mixed stone and wood. She lives there with her family when she is not currently on business.

Nobility

Anloy Family

The Velian house of the Anloy family, led by Master Lucierge Anloy are the industrial and merchantile centre of the city and are directly responsible for most of the established trading and production infrastructure. They own the mines near the city, they own the local steelworks and they subsidize most of the imports and exports of the city. Their influence granted them the lifestyle of nobility long before they were recognized as such by the crown.

Calden Family

The Calden family are a Velian household, headed by Mistress Gwenovier Calden, came into power during the conception of the town. As the merchantry and trade began to stack up around Cloudback Keep, The Calden family were responsible for the general security of the city. Alongside the basic peacekeeping forces that were initally managed, small excursions and scouting parties were organized to make sure the outskirts of the city were safe from the more monstrous security risks.

Rothnes Family

The Imperialist Rothnes family, headed by Master Yerman Rothnes, were a family or repute but non-noble until they moved to Mullay where they began reveling and engaging social gatherings among the city's reputable folks. Regularly hosting balls and parties, they became what amounts to Imperialist 'yes-men' and were granted nobility due to their loyalty and respect to the throne.

Assets

The Pauper Prince

Somewhat scummier than the other tavern in town, the Pauper Prince fortunately sits closer to the city's gate and thus gets more business. It is owned and run by Nyes; an imperial man.

The Tried Axehead

The Tried Axehead is a riverside tavern and inn in the centre of town. It is run by a Velian man named Eider and is owned by the Rothnes family as a result of the death of the previous owner and the resulting power void.

Genver's Hole

Genver's hole is the city's leading smithy, among two or three. Run by Genver, a female dwarf and assisted by a pair of halfling twins they maintin dominance over the market due to Genver's dwarven affinity with metalworking.

The White Tincture

The second smithy in town is the White Tincture, run and operated solely by a gruff human man named Daldar. His very rough sounding voice gives his workplace an odd charm, aside from generally being very good at his craft.

Diddy's

Run by a quaint human woman named Dellary Dronne, the name 'Diddy's' comes from Dellary's nickname, De-De. She runs the establishment very homely and specializes in smaller pieces of equipment like jewelery.

The Surplus Previsionary

Initialy a military surplus store after the war in Awn started to die down, the Previsionary run by Lambert turned into a de facto general store when the supply of military wares dwindled.
