Mission 1:An Unfortunate Event
Discourage Solomon Fisher from running a story on human trafficking in a small port in Northern PFS territory.
Open in Boulder Hill, where we are visited by Remy "Ballbag" Selley , who has a task for us.
Travel to Milbor . A Shonian aligned group, The Quill (The Writers' Guild of reporters, etc) is digging into a potentially embarrassing story. Embarrassing for the PFS at least.
The reporter involved is one Solomon Fischer, and his story into human trafficking would expose the Sliver of Civility Trading Company (Tier 1 PFS).
Solomon Fisher must be discouraged, or otherwise have an "accident".
On Grief's suggestion, The Hammer & Pontiff begin hacking the mechs, transferring recording to a KotG server.
Tuba finds the two Fischers in a tavern ... agros them, causing a scene and starting a fight in the square outside => he gets sucker punched, causing a broken nose (lvl 1 harm).
Learn of the Sword of the 13th Storm (Tier 4 Kerensky) are going to Horizon "Specs" Derision . They are the spearhead of any attack.
The father and son proceed to the warehouse.
Tuba summons The Ticker.
Learn about Jessa Binson (CEO of PFS on world) plans to launch offensive on Shonians.
While confronting Solomon Fisher there is a sudden gunshot and he is slain, his son Martin Fischer is stunned. Grief identifies the sniper as Jesse Lopow , the Head of PFS Security Service.
Grief mind blasts Lopow, stunning him. A smiley face is left as a calling card.
The Ticker pushes over the two Quill mechs, killing Martin, and smashing the bodies and hiding the gunshot wound to Solomon.

In Game
We identify where Solomon is staying - he and his son have rooms in a hotel in town. Their mechs are kept in a warehouse at the edge of town, which is protected by an alarm. Scouting it lead to an increase in suspicion in the area. tubasa , Manifest Ares & Primvach Eradicum proceed on foot into town, Tuba to a local watering hole and the Engineers to the warehouse. Grief provides close support in the Morrigan. The two mechs stored in the warehouse are examined - basic defences, bi-pedal, advanced recording and filming equipment.Downtime

Mission: An Unfortunate Event Brief: Discourage Solomon Fischer from running a story on human trafficking in a small port in Northern PFS territory by arranging a little accident Result : Success? Solomon and his son were killed in what looked like an accident in a mech storage warehouse at the edge of town. Authorities have said the cause of death was improper storage of the pair's Onlooker Mk3 Mechs which fell onto the two as they reviewed their recent captured footage The Shonian Forces are suspicious of the account Rewards: Due to the less than subtle nature of the success, and the amount of cover up needed in the area the PFS paid you 1 Supply point and 2 Materiel You are also now at 3 squad rep due to the tier difference and the mission success Trust: - Squads Benefitting from the mission
