Mission 7:New Beginnings

Knives of the Gline  are on the run. The talks ended abruptly, on several counts. Wanted by both the Shonians and the PFS, enemies of the Kerensky. Friendless and hunted the group find refuge in Randy Mire's. They fulfilled their contract, rescuing LexiDrayton  from the assassination attempt and the apocalyptic attack on Gamberford. Randy is able to provide his allies with key information about the Kerensky attack. Charlotte Law recovers and Lexi bargains for her return to the PFS.   Rules of Engagement:

  • --- In Game     The --- Downtime     --- Entanglements       Jane Colley - Specialist (Pilot) - The Valkyrie (Large Transport Ship) --- Outcome & Numbers (copied from Discord)     Mission: New Beginnings   Brief: After patching yourselves up with the help of Randy, you are looking for a way to leave the continent and branch out on your own. Now all you need to do it escape a warzone and travel half way across the planet   Result : Success In a move nobody was expecting the knives infiltrated a town, kept a reasonably low profile and then hijacked a plane in a flurry of activity. The squad hijacked the Valkyrie and defended the takeoff and escape from The Mace Arc  forces from the principality. As the Valkyrie's engines started to roar at the end of the runway, The Crisis Gunboy stormed past showering the pair of mechs with a rain of explosive metal, forcing them hunker down and weather the storm. Myraids Fury stepped to his side, adding to the onslaught before the sparrowhawk closed the distance in an instant, almost tearing Prim from his mech. This was as good a point as any to escape and board the now moving Valkyrie, just before it roared into the sky. The principality forces were left firing wildly into the air, their every shot called before it happened as Grief channeled every ounce of his concentration to guide your new pilot Jane Colley  through a safe path, allowing you to escape, but not before Grief was overwhelmed by the effort required to peer into the future.   Rewards: Along with taking ownership of the Transport craft, you uncover 2 supply worth of supplies in the rear of the craft. The tales of your assault and daring theft earn the squad 2 rep   Trust: Squads Benefitting from the mission - NONE Squads Harmed - NONE Targeted Faction: PFS -1 - Target controlled region -1 Employer Faction: NONE   Drives, XP and Entanglements will be picked up in the next session once you complete your journey to the Isles of Stamsund.
