In Game
Arriving at Longlake Fort they find the approaching "shadow" to be a massive Leviathan Class Kerensky transport, thus arrives the Tide of the 4th Onslaught (Tier 2) on Rotheram. Disgorging an attack squadron of three Osprey mechs the KotG find themselves in a battle. Liaising with the garrison commander, Glen Madigan, a plan to hold off the invaders while the heavy canon in the military base is brought online. The Fort is not fully combat ready, but it does have three mechs, lead by Jenne Guezal in a Rhino Class, as well as smaller turrets on the walls. 2 pilots Fiona Drayton and Flint Amano
Initial attempts at communication by Prim & Tsuba are answered only by the Ospreys opening fire. This allows the KotG to respond with their patented diplomatic response ... The Ticker leads a brutal charge under a hail of covering fire from Crisis Gunboy, and the battle commences.
The Ospreys prove little more than an inconvenience to the raw violence of the Knives, however the Kerensky did not come unprepared ... The Leviathan delivers some more elite cargo, The Eagle (Kazor Niniky) and The Albatross (Lukell Leiva), and even more threateningly The Uproar is here. Galen Barrick shows an eagerness to continue his rivalry with Primvach.
The KotG have come a long way. Engaging in complex tactics, and leading the co-ordinated defences, they are able to bring the Leviathon down and push Galen onto the backfoot, not without taking significant hits as The Uproar shows advanced heavy weaponry. With the situation becoming desperate, The Pontiff initiates a co-ordinated attack, with Crisis, the Ticker, and Pontiff unleashing a barrage of suppressing fire on the Uproar. Ruin, lacking any ranged weaponry, and in a last desperate act forces The Morrigan past it's limits and buries his spear into the Uproar's back. As his last act Galen Barrick levels his weapon and discharges and overpowered blast, decapitating the Morrigan. The psychic backlash to Ruin is punishing, and sends him spiralling into unconsciousness.
With the Leviathan destroyed and Galen vanquished, the remaining two invaders quickly surrender. The Eagle and The Albatross are taken into the base for examination and their pilots are taken for interrogation. Alas, with a last act of martyred violence, the Kerensky pilots trigger the self-destruct on their mechs consigning their jailors, themselves, and some brave defenders to oblivion. The Mech Bay suffered severe structural damage in the twin blasts. Meanwhile Ruin is treated in the med bay by Astrid Mallick.

Entanglements
Responding to a call for assistance, the ever eager Jane Colley sought to bring the fight beyond the Island. Unfortunately she strayed in Shonian territory, and agents of The Quill obtained footage. They planned to broadcast the video, labelling the KotG as warmongers. This as revenge for the treatment they received from the group some time ago. Thankfully, they agreed to withhold the article in exchange for a return of access to their server, thus saving face for the Knives.
