Blackwood Famine

The Blackwood Famine is the an event that followed the death of Good King Henry. It was believed to be caused by a blight set upon the land Lorcan Blackwood before his escape. The blight, and subsequent famine, caused many deaths throughout the Kingdom of Aeritain before it was alleviated by the introduction of a hitherto unkown crop, corn, by the Wizard Trevelyan.   The famine did even more to cement a deep hated for Lorcan Blackwood in the hearts and minds of the people of Aeritain. Trevelyan's hand in solving the crisis went a small way to toward helping his failing reputation among the people following King Henry's death.
