The Quill & Ale Inn
The Quill & Ale Inn is the only tavern in Beregost. It is a large facility, catering primarily to two crowds: those traveling through, and those hoping to gain access to Candlekeep Library. Typically, patrons of this second category will present their tribute to the order and await decision at the inn, which may take weeks to months.
The Quill & Ale is a comfortable inn with several amenities generally not offered at others of similar size. The inn advertises itself as a place of inspiration and primarily caters to the needs of its scholarly patrons, offering services such as a room service dining, rentable private study rooms, and weekly trivia nights. The inn also hosts a monthly event called 'Q&A at the Q&A', where a representative of Candlekeep visits to answer questions about the library and its entry process.
