LARS DE VELEN

Lars de Velen is the son of the Duke Calchais de Velen, hailing from THE DUCHY OF VELEN. Having had formal education and training, Lars is a formidable fighter and knows his way around a library and a noble's court too.
He is travelling the more populated region to the north of his homeland, looking to forge alliances which will benefit his duchy and its people.
Perhaps the best he can offer potential allies is the renowned Velean honour, well-trained city guard and naval expertise that comes with centuries of defending the Velean coastline against pirates and raiders from the Nelanther Isles which lie to the west of his state.
One of Lars' current missions at the request of his father is to forge alliances with more powerful organisations. Perhaps the THE LORDS' ALLIANCE could be a useful faction to investigate?
Anyone from the kingdom of Tethyr can be counted as one of Lars' allies. Despite the succession from Tethyr that took place about 70 years ago, Velen is now counted as a formal ally of Tethyr.
Lars has recently met Hushabye, another fighter, who is off to WATERDEEP to meet up with MELOON WARDRAGON. Lars is tagging along hoping for an introduction.
