Balance is the key

The Emerald Enclave is a far-ranging organisation, which spans the continent of Faerun. It hopes to maintain the natural order and help those struggling to deal with the perils of the wild. Members of the faction know how to survive and want to help others to do the same. They are not opposed to civilization or progress but strive to ensure that there is a balance between civilization and the wilderness, and that they do not destroy each other.
Members of the Emerald Enclave often work in individual cells, rather than hierarchical groups, but those who choose to help others are often more sociable than others who prefer to protect a certain geographical location or site of natural beauty.

Beliefs

1. The natural order must be respected and preserved.
2. Forces that seek to upset the natural balance must be destroyed.
3. The wilderness can be harsh. Not everyone can survive in it without assistance.

The Enclave in Waterdeep

People wishing to join the Enclave must demonstrate an interest in protecting nature or the natural order. Druids and rangers are especially welcome.
WATERDEEP harbors a few members of the faction, which seeks to foster harmony between nature and civilization. They help guard the city against unnatural threats, including aberrations and undead. They also watch over the THE CITY OF THE DEAD and the city's parks.
