Personal history
Growing up in Elturgard, Peszes was proud to do her duty and serve her country in any way she could. She was slightly less proud to find herself stuck as a scribe, cloistered safely within the high temples. So when the one winged pegasus appeared to her in her research and promised power in exchange for doing good in the world, she jumped at the chance.
Her newfound abilities were enough to get her through the application process with the guard, and after a year of training she was inducted and put on a team with Nilnan and several others, and sent on a mission to pursue a group of retreating fiends into the nine realms.
This went immediately and catastrophically wrong. An ambush was set off and the portal forced closed. By the time reenforcements arrived everyone but Nilnan and herself was dead, and they were out of magic and dying. In a final spiteful blow before the fiends continued retreat, a lesser duke of one of the hells lashed out and removed peszes's left arm and eye with a cursed blade. It hasn't been able to be regrown.
The pair, now both deeply traumatized were released from their service and set out together to Waterdeep in an attempt to recover. A chance encounter with Ilxin lead to some resteored confidence and the formation of the Sapphire Army. Peszes might not wake up screaming like nilnan still does, but she hasn't forgotten she has a score to settle. And now she has both the army and the Windblown to help.

She's come to terms with her injuries for the most part. Shes more just irritated with the way other people treat her. Especially being surrounded by people with holy magic, she gets asked all the time why she doesn't 'just go get that healed'. She's exhausted by it and tends to wait with the supplies in stead of heading into towns full of strangers.

Peszes is quick witted, generally operating in a support role shes used to thinking about where she needs to be and how the team is doing as a whole. Her background as a scribe gives her a good base of general historic, political and scientific knowledge.
