Wembly (a.k.a. Webs)
Wembly is the local artificer of Armunia Kratero.
One fateful day, a man with a glass bottle monocle came to visit her shop and asked her to make some masks that can breath the elements like the Dragons of old. She naively agreed mostly because of the money but more so to prove her metal as she had aspirations to be the best inventor in Fartharia.
After making about 100 masks the man collected them, gave her the money and was on his way.
a few weeks later there was a knock on the door, she answered it and was met by a ragtag group of adventurers with Xavier and Alexander Sunguard. They interrogate her about the masks and she relents telling them everything she knows. Suddenly a commotion is coming from down the streets as a crew of people wearing the masks she made are walking down the streets using the breath weapons to cause chaos.
Her and The Guardians fend off some of the Disciples of Discourse when The Guardians are instructed to go and check on the Sunguard Estate.
Wembly and The Sunguards fend off the Disciples only to be ambushed by Vortigarr. The Guardians arrive just in time to see Vortigarr remove Alexander's hand and burn it to a crisp. Wembly had been knocked clear of the crowd but nobody came to check on her... She feels she deserves it though... Having been the one to help sow discourse into Fartharia.
She goes back to her shop to nurse her wounds and pray forgiveness from Soficio. After a few hours there is another knock on the door.
The Guardians drag in the body of a metal man and Carl Bastion reveals himself to be of the same likeness. Intrigued and feeling like she must make amends, she agrees to investigate the body.
During her investigation, Wembly discovers that the panels on a Warforged's body can be opened and, on this warforged, when the chest is opened they find just an empty cavity.
The nest day, when the Guardians arrived to check in on her, She conveys her discovery to the Guardians. Carl bravely volunteers to have his chest opened. Wembly is able to successfully open Carl's chest and they discover a yellow light inside the cavity. Carl decides to try and touch the light and, upon reaching his finger inside, he begins to hear a voice yell "Back Vatra" as a roar is also heard, suddenly the sounds of battle can be heard around them. Metallic clanging, Plops of feet in mud, fire erupting, voices yelling. The rest of the party does the same and hears the same.
The Guardians decide to embark on their mission but not before giving Wembly the idea to replace Alexander and Derek's lost limbs with the limbs of the Warforged.
While she was working this project she was called to Dustavarus in order to look at the pieces of a derelict Airship in the hopes of salvaging it for The Guardians.
She was able to rebuild an Airship from Captain Xazik’s “Donated” ship. She also created earrings for the Guardians that allows them to communicate over distance but the maximum range has yet to be discovered. She hopes to atone for her wrongs in creating the masks the Disciples of Discourse use and hopes to be counted as a member of The Guardians of Fartharia like Talia.
