Saw of the Zealot: The saw of St. Simon, blessed with the blood of a saint. It its said to have the ability to cut down heretics, so long as the wielder's faith doesn't waver. Due to Simon's relationship with Peter, he can't use the saw against him.

Personal history

Simon was an orphan taken in by the Holy Church. On the same day he was brought back to the church another baby named Peter was also brought back. As such he was raised alongside Peter inside of the church. Eventually Simon was so dutiful with his studies that he was eventually made into an executor. When the Cairo Holy Grail war started Simon was given the job to oversee it. This was mainly due to the fact that the church started distrusting Peter's motivations, & had Simon spy on him close by, due to them being great friends.

Intellectual Characteristics

Simon was very dutiful with his religious studies, so much that he was made an executor at a young age & given a holy relic to aid in his battles. Due to this he was also familiar with several things that happened in church history, including the existence of Nancy van Helsing.

History

Simon & Peter were both orphans taken in by the Holy Church. They first met when they were brought back on the same day, & were raised together, becoming something akin to brothers. Simon was dutiful with his studies & he raised quickly in the church, while Peter was initally a slacker only focused on revenge. After Peter found out the truth about his parents, he had Simon tutor him in the church. Eventually when the Cairo Holy Grail War started they were both sent, Simon as an overseer & Peter as a master. Their relationship seemingly came to an end when Peter had Judas attack Simon, in order to get the grail vessel.

Relationship Reasoning

Both Simon & Peter were orphans taken in by the Holy Church. As such they were raised to be basically brothers. Simon was dutiful with his studies & he raised quickly in the church, while Peter was initally a slacker only focused on revenge. After Peter found out the truth about his parents, he had Simon tutor him in the church. The church officials were suscpicous about Peter's sudden interest & instructed Simon to keep a close eye on him. When Peter showed interest in the Holy Grail War, Simon was made to be the overseer. Even though they both care about each other, they lie to each other on a constant basis.
