Merchant Privateers

The Merchant Privateers are the seafaring arm of Aradis. As the name implies, they are often private vessels contracted to the Aradis government, but only Aradis natives are considered Merchant Privateers. They are paid to ferry goods, and in times of conflict, troops. The Grand Navigator is often selected from among the Merchant Privateers.
