The Burning Grounds

The Burning Grounds is a region in the Underdark. Located in the Northeast, is is primarily charachterized by significant amounts of underground volcanic activity. While the occasional deep magma pool or river can be found anywhere in the Underdark, The Burning Grounds is a complex webwork of tunnels past molten stone and bridges over lava flows. The largest city in not only The Burning Grounds, but all of the Underdark is Pyhrtha. The region also contains the Lonely Road, a long, twisting tunnel that is the only path to Home, the largest cluster of Myconids in the the Underdark. To the far east is Tor Hodrn, who's Derro inhabitants are fiercely hostile to everyone.
