The Heartstone

The Heartstone is the central region of the Underdark. A large region, much of it is under the control of the Drow Matrons out of Gelthael. They are in constant conflict with the Duergar out of Uthrav, and this war is the only thing that keeps the tense peace they maintain with the Deep Gnomes of Berith. The only major player in The Heartstone they are not aggressive with is Dovrim, as none of the matrons wish to anger the dragon who rules there.
