Proto Deities

Proto Deities existed before the prime deities and the primordial, material, or any other realms. They did not directly create the Primary Deities, but their union created the planet on which Fennengath can be found. When the planet was born, the seven Primary Deities came into existence with it. Together, the nine original deities molded the planet and the space around it to their liking.
There are two Proto Deities;

• Nomi
• Loarn

Neither of these two deities has much following or worship, though temples and cults following them aren't unheard of. They are dualistic deities, almost always appearing in myths together, often joining together with another god. The two are opposites in many ways, but are not seen as good and evil. Nomi and Loarn are law and chaos always dancing in a wild and delicate balance. They are forces that were at work in the universe before the land, sky, or sea existed. They have children amongst the Secondary Deities who are more directly worshiped by the peoples of Fennengath.
