Uymil
Once, Uymil housed the capital of the Kingdom of Tanish, and they still host the largest city. This is where the kingdom was founded, and where the most population density lives. They are no longer host to the capital, but they have not forgotten.
Though the people of Uymil have identified as Tanishian since before the Fourth Reckoning, they also have a distinct Uymillian identity that revolves around the sea. Inland Tanishites' lives revolve around the desert and the river, while Uymillians have always been people of the sea. Before the Reckoning, Tanish sent many exploratory and trade expeditions up and down the coasts, and they were always captained and primarily crewed by Uymillians.
Ships haven't been sent out since the Reckoning, but small fishing ships regularly fill Bibar Bay. Seafood makes up the primary diet along the coast. Uymillians are famous in Tanish for eating things the rest of the populace find horrifying, like sea urchins and clams. The god of the sea, La'im, is worshipped only in Uymil.

Assets
Uymil's primary export is its seafood. Until the invasion of Kalitria, it was the only part of the Kingdom with a coast. Although fish can't remain fresh all the way to Zedda, towns throughout Zeh enjoy their imports.
Their other main asset is salt. Salt is harvested in the north, around the city of La'aygu. Two shallow bays around the point make it easy to use dug canals to channel seawater into large ponds across the sand strip and then let the burning sun evaporate it away to acquire salt. Smaller towns down the coast also produce salt, but La'aygu has by far the largest ponds and is the chief supplier for the rest of the kingdom.

History
Uymil is where the Kingdom of Tanish got its start. Tirasha was the original city-state before branching out to conquer the rest of the region, and is still the second most important city in the kingdom.
During the Fourth Reckoning, many of the coastal communities were decimated by tsunamis. Only the strongest, most fortified buildings such as temples are still standing today.
