Te'a
Te'a is the largest province of the Kingdom of Tanish, but the most sparsely populated. It's also known as Upper Tanish, which is the area upriver from where the Retays joins the Zel. The main population centres are Lusisi'ur and the Valley of Kings, with Zedda and the small villages around it.
Lusisi'ur is the third largest city in Tanish, after Zedda and Tirasha. It gained its wealth - and subsequently the wealth of Te'a at large - from the Agish Mines up the Retays river. Te'a has numerous other mines throughout the foothills of the Shiver Mountains. Despite its low population, it's a prime source of wealth for the kingdom. Te'a is also where the majority of cross-desert caravans set out from and arrive to, because it's easier to follow the river north and then skirt along the edge of the mountains rather than crossing the sandy basin.
