The Council of Eight
The Council of Eight is formed of the most influential families of Mompi. These families are nobility of the highest honor, those that have helped Mompi for generations. A families position on the council is only removed when 6 members of the council and the Avaequessir agree their position must be revoked. A new family is then searched to replace the missing position.
