• Party discovered site of ambush on Gundren Rockseeker's and his escort's horses
• Party followed goblin tracks and drag trails to Cragmaw Hideout

• Sildar Hallwinter told the party that he overheard the goblins say that Gundren Rockseeker and a map in his possession were sent to Cragmaw Castle on orders from the Black Spider

Session 3

• During interrogation, the Redbrands leader Glasstaff revealed that the leader of Cragmaw Castle is King Grol
• Glasstaff also revealed that the Black Spider is a drow who is in charge of the goblin forces in the region and is in Wave Echo Cave searching for the Forge of Spells

• Speaking with Reidoth, the party was given directions to Cragmaw Castle

Session 9

Session 9 Report -- 03-12-2021

• Fighting their way through the goblin fortress of Cragmaw Castle, the party found Gundren Rockseeker in the clutches of King Grol
• Having been alerted to the party's assault on the castle, King Grol was prepared for the party and held Gundren Rockseeker hostage, threatening to kill him if the party did not back off
• The party attacked Grol and defeated him and Vyerith, a servant from the Black Spider, but unfortunately Gundren Rockseeker was killed in the scuffle
