Monters

By far the smallest of the great families of Gram, the Monters are not be underestimated. They are involved in many businesses and share a much better relationship with the common man than the other families. Once a very conservative family, seeking to gain favor with the king, the new generations have seen the family move to a much more liberal political position. Unlike other family members, they are known for making their concerns known outside council meetings. This is usually a very taboo practice in Gram as the nobility prefer to air their grievances in private, away from the ears of the common man.
