The fog of the aether

Different colored fog travels through the ethereal plane, though I have experienced many of these fogs, I cannot finally say what I might expect when I enter such a fog. - Thalivar

The only material forms that present themselves are different colored clouds of fog, present everywhere. If one passes such a fog, they might notice a stranger walking through the Ethereal plane or they might step into a moment of history, present or future. They might even encounter gods here, but this is very unlikely.
