Government

Valdonia  is governed by a feudal system, firmly rooted in the authority of the Vesperia family. At the pinnacle of this hierarchy stands Lord Vesperia, the sovereign ruler who wields absolute power over the province.  Lord Vesperia's word is law, and his dominion extends to all matters within the country, from resource allocation to matters of justice.  This dominion is indirect however as he rules through his offspring.  5 of his eldest sons and daughters each hold dominion over a province, and are designated as that regions Lord or Lady. Directly beneath Lord Vesperia are the provincial rulers, each overseeing a distinct sector crucial to the province's prosperity. These rulers, or lords, hold sway over key industries like mining, lumber, agriculture, commerce, and military matters. They act as the intermediaries between the central authority and the various communities under their purview, ensuring that the province operates smoothly and efficiently.
