Dragon Wastes
Capital: Delif
Languages: Valtrok, Burgh, Urd, Farix
An unrefined land dominated by wild monsters and the unwelcomed peoples of the world, the Dragon Wastes dominates the western reaches of Falandas. When the curse was lifted from the dragons and their minds were returned the beasts made their way to the land in droves, combining their might and establishing a kingdom where they would never again allow the people of the world to imprison them again.
These dragons wasted no time in destroying the previously established government and ruling class of the nation of Foringalja. The remaining people were brought under the dragon rule and conscripted into military service. Though much was destroyed the dragons spared the city of Delif where The Nest was established to house the Council of Wryms.
Demography and Population
Population: 150,000 (55% Gnoll, 15% Ogre, 10% Goblinoid, 5% Human, 5% Elf, 5%, Gnome, 5% Other)
Living in the land of dragons is done so either in subserviently or because one is fleeing from punishment in another part of the world. Those in the first group are primarily gnolls that had lived in the nation of Foringalja before the dragons conquered the nation. Out of fear and primal instinct these people dropped to their knees and pledge fealty to the beasts as the gnolls knew that they had little chace to stand up against their oppressors. In the second group of people are those that are fleeing punishment from the law in other nations. These groups tend to be more violent and dangerous than the natural peoples of the Dragon Wastes as many that flee to the area are wanted to a variety of violent crimes. Small groups of these outlaws have banded to form boarder towns which have been allowed by the Council of Wyrms. As the dragons see it the gatherings of bandits on the edges of the nation act as natural border guards that will be a deterrent to those that many wish to enter the area.
Territories
Grand cliffs that overlook the waters of the Vitalm Ocean run along the length of the western edges of the Dragon Wastes. The land is coated thick with trees ranging from mighty oaks to maples and pinewood. To the east the land becomes wide ranges of endless grassland that slowly begin to rise and fall as the land changes to rolling hills. The the south several rives trace their way down from the norther reaches as they have cut through the land due to centuries of heavy rain fall. As one of the largest areas of land in all of Falandas this land has remained largely untouched throughout history.
Military
There is not much of an organized military to speak of within the Dragon Wastes. Those that do fight are generally conscripted into service in the military and are given little formal training in how to fight. Often the soldiers tfight with crude weaposn made of sharpened sitcks and edgedg stones. Those soldiers that are given the gift of armor or forged steel are considered to be the more elite troops within the military. The Dragon Wastes have no navy to speak of to patrol the shores of the land. This duty falls to the dragons themselves who fly over the shores and will attack any vessel that approaches within one mile of land. Only those designated by the Council of Wyrms are allowed to venture closer to the land.
Religion
There is no dedicated religion that is worshipped within the boarders of the Dragon Wastes. As the people consist of a melting pot of bandits fleeing their old homes and people that bow in fear of their overlords the array of religions worshipped cover nearly all aspects of the pantheon. The dragons themselves have banned the worship of Orikan as it was he that cursed the dragons and their anger toward the newly ascended god runs hot. Aside from this the Council of Wyrms allow the people freedom to worship as they see fit and the dragons do not interfere with this aspect of life.
Foreign Relations
The Council of Wyrms refuses to deal with any of the nations of men, but has made an exception with the people of Inont. Allowing the grippli armies to land on the shores of the Dragon Wastes allowed the dragons to take a semblance of revenge on the nation of Alivara as a combined force of grippli and gnoll soldiers marched to the east. Aside from this relationship the council has developed a reputation of being unwilling to speak with any no matter the message being delivered. Sending a messenger into the Dragon Wastes has resulted in the unnecessary loss of life of the messenger as they are either killed by scouts, or hunted by the dragons themselves.
Agriculture & Industry
The Dragon Wastes are intentionally segregated from other nations and as such there is no trade that comes in or goes out from the lands. Swaths of farm land dominates the plains between the western forests and the rolling hills to the east. From these farms a supply of crops and animals are used to feed the population of both humanoid and dragons alike. Along the southern boarders a number of small villages have formed along the banks of the rivers and the residents have found some success as modest fisherman.

Legislative Body
Dragons have little interest in the lives of the people of the Dragon Wastes and the establishment of the Council of Wyrms was not crafted so as to provide those people with a ruling body. These dragons expect that the people of the Dragon Wastes simple follow the commands of the dragons without question, and those that do not are dealt with swiftly. The council works to protect their way of life while searching the known world for a safe place that they can call home. This is not to say that the dragons are looking to make a mass exodus from Falandas, but instead when a dragon comes of age the council will appoint a team to search land appropriate to that dragon where they can settle and be safe from the interference of man.
Tribal government still exists among the humanoid races of the Dragon Wastes but must opperate in secret as any formal gatherings are looked as a threat to the council. Laws are thereby in place but rarely respected and followed as the majority of the population knows that enforcing such law is nearly impossible currently. The further from Delif that one ventures the increasingly lawless the lands become.
