Provectus

"With succeeding engineers and unmatched dedication, we are unstoppable." - an unnamed dictator.

Structure

The land is ruled by one dictator with a selection of cabinet advisors. The cabinet advisors offer advice that is reviewed by the dictator.

Public Agenda

Provectus' main current goal is to take control over Caesellius Vindex. Their endgame is to create a cornucopia of trade and resources.

Assets

Large clay deposits, a large population, pistols and advanced melee weapons are Provectus' assets.

Demography and Population

Compared to Caesellius Vindex, Provectus holds much more people. Generally, the population is packed into super-cities with large economic influence. This allows for many career opportunities that will serve the city. The largest super-cities are located along the coastlines of the north side of the island. These areas collect deposits of clay for creating houses and also fish for food.

Military

Soldiers are trained until deemed fit by their superior. Large amounts of recruits enter the military at a time so the commanders may not always deliver the best education on battle. Black leather chest plates are worn into battle to absorb heat in Caesellius Vindex. This prevents a lot of heat stroke related deaths before battle. Chainmail armor is then worn underneath for a little more protection. Sometimes, ex-veterans join Operatio Memoria after realizing the atrocities they've committed in the battlefield.

Technological Level

The most notable technological advancement is the creation of the modern pistol. This revolutionizes the battlefield in the Vindexians' dismay. Specific troops are trained to be able to fire a pistol, aim somewhat accurately, and reload effectively. These troops provide support for the charging forces by eliminating those ahead. Provectors also have access to other spoils like early antibiotics, plumbing and lighters.

Religion

Provectors believe in a variety of deities that represent lions, wolves, turtles, and even dragons. Some even become monks and live in temples dedicated to one deity. They wear white silk cloaks to denounce fashion because of its focus on mere objects. Monks create stone statues detailing these animals and past dictators performing honorable deeds. These busts and monuments add a great deal of personality to the cities of Provectus.

Agriculture & Industry

Provectus relies on the industrial workforce of its population. They create weapons including swords, shields, and even guns. Small boats are also produced to keep a consistent supply of fish and seaweed. There are few farms in Provectus because the earth is too jagged and rocky. The farms that do exist are right next to the stalemate border which can lead to it getting destroyed during battle.

Trade & Transport

Super-cities trade often so as to keep their economy alive. Goods are normally transported by horseback but sometimes by sailing to another city. The tunnels provide easy routes for merchants to travel across Provectus. Often they carry fish and rare minerals and gems.

Education

Like the military, large amounts of students are all taught at once until they reach their final years. Then, they study a subject frivolously to become a functioning member of Provector society. This ends up producing engineers and architects with unsurpassed skill and prowess.

Infrastructure

Plenty of the buildings in Provectus are made from hardened clay and brick. This is because many of its super-cities are near the northern coast with large clay deposits. Tunnels are made because the mountains isolate many cities which cuts off trade flow. The tunnels are perfectly dug to prevent the mountain from caving in. There is a large building that the dictator resides in that showcases many statues and artifacts representing Provector glory. This is known simply as "The Palace". The cabinet advisors live in lavish houses built right next to the palace.
