Hey, Teyvill. Thank you for inviting us to your game. I thoroughly enjoyed watching the session and reading through the supporting articles. You've developed a great setting there and I can see you have a great group of friends too! Please say hello to them all for me. I love it when DMs take rules systems to another level and push them beyond the genre they were intended for. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing what the Bureau gets up to in France and will be following their adventures whenever I can. Also, I can't say enough how grateful I am for you taking the time and effort to translate everything into English. My players - those who play Maxim Kunitsyn, Aiyana, Damien Sinclaire, Remy Dalton and Sesostris (though the latter required translation of your comment xD) are all also saying hello to you ;) It is indeed a high praise from someone with 40 years of experience, and I feel very honored. We want to try to adhere to the schedule of releasing an episode once per two weeks, with most of the work being captions, of course. I've got only one question which will help me raise the quality of translation in the future: Would it help if captions were more broken up, or stayed longer on the screen? Cause I feel like in some cases I don't have enough time to read them, though of course English isn't my first language. And thank you for being our first fan from beyond the Russian-speaking part of the world who spoken up and left some feedback. We salute you!
Hey, Teyvill You're very welcome :) I loved all of the player's characters. Everyone played them very well and portrayed a good sense of who they are and what roles they play in the Bureau. I imagine it is a challenge for Aiyana (being a bird), but I'm sure she will flourish once she has her Inhuman Illusion in place and has the freedom to play her part. I found it very comfortable to watch; enjoyed the inclusion of scene images like The Bureau, the Library, and close-ups of the brooch; the scenery in the game room, lighting, camera angles - all fantastic! I can see you have all clearly put a lot of work into production and it has paid off. Now is the time to enjoy playing the game. I found that 95% of the time the captions were perfect to read (from a native English speakers point of view) and there were only a few captions that were so long I didn't have time to read the last few words. This isn't a huge issue as the video can be paused, but I would say add a half second or 1 second for longer captions. Other than that, it was great! DMG
Oh, thank you very much! ;) The lighting/camera, basically the set design was all made by the player who plays Sesostris, we're also editing all the episodes together (with me handling narrative, audio and captions, and him being responsible for visuals), and you're making him a huge compliment ;) I passed it on and translated it ;)
