Triton

The depths of the Inner Sea and Outer Ocean are huge, mysterious, and wondrous; full of unknown perils and untold riches, and no race is better equipped to plum these depths than the triton. With the genasi focused on land-based concerns, the locathah disinclined to stray far from the shore, and the sea elves' lackadaisical approach to serious endeavor, the triton dominate the trade in bottom-of-the-sea goods. And in true mercantile fashion, they assiduously avoid becoming entangled in surface politics.
