Personal history
Helena Peabody was born, as most people are, to a Mr and Ms Peabody, on the peaceful planet of Taranor. At an early age, she found an affinity for a specific kind of energy manipulation, one could call magic. Quite instinctive, she started healing wounded animals, paper cuts and other minor injuries. Her reality bending allowed her to change the colour of her toys, or make her plushies levitate.
After being involved in a tragic and horrifying vehicle accident, where she saw her parents dismembered and burning alive, screaming as they slowly died in front of her eyes, she retreated into fairy tales and adventure books. In spite of the efforts of a great many therapists, she ran away on her twelfth birthday to find adventure. Her efforts to repress her trauma gave birth to Steve The Familiar , a small ball of energy and stress (a stressball?) which allows her to remain innocent.
She ended up under the robotic wing of Sheriff Pebbles, who showed her around the galaxy and formed a fatherly bond with her. As a Future Club contestant himself, he saw her potential and entered her into the show. He sadly passed away tragically in a self replicating robot incident. In the same incident, she met George Pouffiasse. With the passing of Pebbles, George legally adopted her and uses his vast fortune to pay for her therapy.
