Composition
Manpower
The Federation Forces have a total manpower of 475,000. 300,000 of which are deployed for combat and the remaining 175,000 are deployed as security for federation outpost and for the protection of allied nations.
Logistics
Recruitment
Members of the Federation Forces are recruited from nations all over the world. Any person may apply to join as long as they meet the underlining conditions:
- They are male
- They are Human or Human Hybrid.
- They have official record of citizenship or visa to work in the nation from which they are applying.
- They are of 18 Human years or an equivalent for Hybrids.
- They are not considered criminals by the Human Federation's laws and code of conduct.
- They are not holding interests that run counter to the Federation Ideology.
- They are not in any form of civil or religious union with a monster.
- They are of good health throughout the whole application process.
- The can pass the initial and final examinations at the physical, moral and intellectual level required for the specific role they are applying for.
History
In the initial years of the Human Federation its core task was mediation of conflicts between the human nations. The Federation at the time was concerned in preventing another great war like that which occurred between Saul and Rends and as such was only a means for which nations could talk out their disagreements through a neutral party. This role of a mediating council had two major flaws; the first was that the Federation was completely dependent upon powerful human nations for its security and protection, which greatly skewed its neutrality in favor of those nations. The second flaw was that it lacked any true power to act when negotiations between the nations failed nor any power to actually protect nations overwhelmed by monster invasion.
These factors led the early leaders of the Human Federation to realize that they needed actual power and an actual military force to achieve its agenda, though this was a difficult matter to achieve as no competent nation would ever give an independent entity a means of control over said nation. Thus the Human Federation spun the idea to the nations as a militia solely for providing combat assistance against monster invasion and to the luck of the Federation the nations agreed but put heavy restrictions on its acting power. this militia though not official would begin to be referred to as the the Federations Militia and later on the Federation Forces.
As decades went on the Federation Militia would see its numbers and funding grow exponentially as to humans the idea of a military forced solely dedicated to the protection against monsters was and attractive prospect. Eventually the Leaders of the Federation would realize this and begin subtlety ignoring many of the tight restrictions put on it by the member nations and in some cases would use the availability of their forces as a bargain chip to those nation that would align themselves with Federation agenda. Eventually the Human Federation would obtain enough power to remove many of the restrictions on it and gain the means of actually compelling cooperation between the nations, It was then when the Federation Militia became officially Recognized as the Federation Forces.
