Lake Tsana

A somewhat heart-shaped like (echoing the symbol of the goddess of Love) in Sheba. One of the two major tributaries of the Great River flows from here, merging with the one that comes from Lake Nalubaale at the temple-city of Khartoum.   Like Lake Nalubaale and Khartoum, Lake Tsana is regarded as an important geographical location in the legend of the union of the goddess of Love and the god of the Sun which formed all life on Gaia. The people of Sheba believe Lake Tsana (or perhaps the sacred springs known as Felege Ghion that form the headwaters of the lake) was where she first set foot on the barren world and she travelled to the site of Khartoum where the union took place. The people of the powerful mountain kingdom surrounding Lake Nalubaale have a different belief (that their lake was the site of the union).
