Disibility in Gaia

Gaia is much like the real world in many ways, its people can contract injuries, illness, and other unwanted stuff we have in the real worlds. This is a list of known Gaian Characters who have disabilities, yet have left their mark on Gaia as a whole.
There are many heroes and villains who left their mark with such conditions and states of being.

Many are seen as heros, some even hold records. This is a list of known folk that have atleast one of these disabilities.

Misuki Tirvale

Mizumi is perhaps one of the most famous of heroines of Gaia. She is a master Chronomancer that has taken upon herself to help others and keep Gaia in acceptable condition.
Mizumi had lost her right foreleg as a hatchling to a stray pack of vicious dogs that considered her prey. She was saved by Humans who ultimatly had to have her leg amputated to save her from septic shock.

Rachaak T'Litchi

Rachaak is a Rathari alchemist who has made breaking alchemical discoveries within the MIsty Thicket of Sahandra. His entire life was plagued with illness and sickness, as he was born ill. Frail and already not expected to survive much past his teens. Rachaak has blown all expectations away as he is now in his mid thirties and healty as he can be.
He was born with cancer in his right leg that plagued his entire life untill it was finnaly treated by way of Hip Disarticulation. He has since adapted yet unfortunatly still burdens a frail body. He is considered healty and cancer free. He is known for the Potion known as a Forget-me-Not, which is said to assist those who have alost passed out in adventuring.

The Lady Medari

Amogst the most famous of dragons, Lady Medari is the current leader of Azra'Kah and has a dynasty that had formed with the hatching of one Medicuari. She is a Western Dragon who had lost her luscious golden scales to sickness and in turn has now a pale gold sheen. She was caught up in a nuclear weapon experiment that occured within the Desert she was from. This is the reason she lost her glimmering gold scales she was once proud of. She also had a hind leg removed due to extreme burns from said weapon.
She originally landed in Azra'Kah to die, but inadvertedly had overthrown decades of an opression sultan in her rage. Instead of being seen asa Monster, she was seen as a savior, and her radiation sickness was purged, and her injuries mended. Over time, MEdari softened up to these humans and out of a life-debt owned it to them to see them into the future as thier sultaness.

"Lady Medariussoculpuliixi, as her traditional Draconic name is, is by far amongst the easiest of all dragons to approach for conversation. She is in debted to these humans who praised her as thier savior. Past her gold-scale pride she is a gentle giant of a dragon who deeply has connected with us lesser people over her own kin. This hasn;t been seen since the Combine Empire days." -Chronicler Menzhe Akari

Masu the Eagle

Masu is one of the most famous of the Klithzi Kobolds. A veteran of the Aliance of Man's attempted xenocide of his race, he has made it to be a father of an adopted orphan and a caring mate to a lesser known Kobold known as Matzi. The two share a very close and loving relationship, reinforced by the idea that Masu survived the darkest thing to ever happen to his kin.
Masu was a technical gunner during the war, he manned a machine gun atop one of the old Technicals that the Kobolds cooked up from Alliance salvage. His unit was engaged with an anti-armor unit which they stood no chance of. A combination of anti-armor and tank fire, thier technical and crew of 4 was utterly decimated. Masu was thought to be dead untill he crawled himself back to the nearest Klithzi salvage camp. Inflicted with infection and blood loss, Masu had sustained brutal scars, He had lost a leg, and eye, and part of his tail, as well as a digit or two due to infection. His right ear is also tattered. After months of recovery, he had returned to the war as a sniper.
He holds the record for the furthest sniper confirmed hit in Gaian History with a decrypt Raokao Battle-rifle, using just the iron sights.

"Many see him as a grumpy war veteran, it took much from him, his life was changed within minutes. He runs his own mechnical shop now, with his cute family. He's a legend amongst sharpshooters. He's hard to talk to, but I understand, he always looks tired, so we have to deal with his snarky mate, Matzi, who is quite protective of him." -Chronicler Antonie Sarkan

Empress Fetsui Tetsuya of Sebilestia

Her highness of The Celestial Mandate is a well respected leader of the Isarian nation of the Celestial Mandate. SHe made history for being the youngest isarian to become Empress and quickly became beloved due to her humble and caring attitude towards her kin. She is the sole Survivor of a bombing that killed the rest of her family in a Assassination attempt from the Sasslissian Imperium.
She was the furthest away from the explosion, debris took her right eye and scarred her face. Thnkfully her Domingo friend Tsarken Leth-Dov shileded her from the deadliest of explosion. Fetsui was devastated, Her first act of heroism was to save Tsarken's life shortly after he did his duty as a bodyguard. Though coaching the two recovered and immediatly were met with the realization, she was now empress of one of the most powerful nations of Gaia at the age of 12. She still wears an eyepatch to cover the scars of her injury.

Tsarken Leth-Dov

Tsarken is a Domingo war refugee who held a blood oath with his saviors, the Tetsuya Royal family. He became Bodyguard ot the youngest of the family, Fetsui where the two forged a strong bond of friendship. The two are close due to thier combined experiances.
During the Jade War, Tsarken fufulled his final act of bodyguard to the Future empress of The Mandate, Fetsui, by shilding her from what would have been a fatal explosion.
Its due to this act, Tsarken became partially paralyzed with spinal damage and lost his 'purpose' Untill Fetsui apointed him Hand of the Empress. While Tsarken may need assistance waking, he accepted his duty to his fullest. He serves the Empress as her closest advisor, and close friend.

"My days as a fighter are over...my final act has been done while I made sure her Highness was to be saved. I feel guilty I was not able to save her eye...but she does no blame me, and we been ...closer since that act of Horror. My new purpose...is her advisor. Seszri Huri'fiz

Seszri is a drakith adenturer that had his life turned around after an industrial accident took his entire right arm at the shoulder. He currently lives in the fringes of Telos, and is often seen as the only Drakith who can be approached and spoken to without worry of violence.
What is known of the Empire of the Sun is through Seszri. He is currently entertaining the idea of becoming a scholar for The Guild of Lore, but does not wish to abandon his adventuing life style. Due to the loss of his arm, Seszri had to adapt from a Spear to a sword, which is an alien weapon mostly to Drakith.
He currently has a small hut on the Telosian Island of Kaiamana. He often can be seen teaching young Foxian kits about herbalism and swordplay.

Re'Talas the Small

Re'Talas is a Silverwind gnoll that was born with a mental illness that effects his speech and mannerisms. Born a runt, and after a long run with a group of villianous folk who mistreated him. He is free to explore the wilds of Maelstrom.
His childlike behavior often got him mistreated by this group of raiders, who he eventually betrayed and fled. He was an orphan who had nowhere else to go. His wild-like appearnce often throws off the first encounters, but he has found solace with a Mythi couple who took him in at his brink of freezing to death. He was adopted by them eventually, and currently splits a portion of his adventurer earnings with this family to support them. It is said it's a 60-40 split with him taking only 40.

Kithani Eshelos

Kithani is a Nozumi caretaker that curently lives in Auyri as a caretaker of a grove of cherry trees. He occasionally adventures as well. He was born with Muscular Dystrophy and was orphaned at a young age, where he made his living as a street theif and magician. He has since grown stronger, however he still requires the use of a pair of bulky leg braces to move about.
He was sad that he could not jump like his kin. This is pridefull Nezumi thing at a young age. He often stayed in one place and often made a living mending groves of trees under an apprenticeship of an arborist. During his time here, he also grew interested in Swordplay which he has a good grasp over. He is almost a master fencer.
He feels he hasa strange connection to another Exa whenever they appear in his world.
