GB Chapter 26: Breaking & Entering

General Summary

Opening

• Chazzle leaves the party, walking off into the artcic horizon after saying some choice words to Master Obu. The rest take a long rest. 
• They meet a Teddy Polar Bear in the morning, who offers to lead them to a secret entrance under the wall to the prison complex. They also call Rexy & the Twins over with the carriage, instructing Rexy to stay behind and hide in the woods behind the gate. Communication was choppy, so they shall learn how this goes eventually
• The Teddy Bear leads Master Obu, Balcazar, Draconius, Fork, & the Twins to the secret entrance, a partially filled hole under the exterior wall. He digs them in, allowing the fellas into a sneaky position on the other side. They see the big mountain about 30 ft in front of them, a mild hiding spot about 15 ft away, and the pathway presumably leading to the front gate a ways down. On the top of the wll, they see what look to be life-sized animated dolls patrolling. After some hiding attempts, Fork & Balcazar make it to the hiding spot, while Master Obu & Draconius (and by extension, the Twins) are spotted by the patrol.

Combat: The Gaiobros vs The Dollmen (4, 800 XP total)

• Draconius casts Eldritch Blast and deals 15 force damage to the dollman that spotted them
• Master Obu casts Sacred Flame, but the Dollman is having none of it and dodges

Initiative

1. Master Obu: 3
2. Draconius: 3
3. Balcazar: 5
4. Dollman: 12

Round 1

• Dollmen: Deal 5 bludgeoing to Draconius & Mater Obu each. One of them straight up dies
• Balcazar: Eldritch Blasts at a guy for 26 force damage, then smacks his ass and kills him.
• Draconius: Multiattacks with the scythe, him and the boy do some killing
• Master Obu: Casts Sacred Flame, while the Girl casts Cold Blast. They do 28 damage.

Round 2

• Dollman: Latches on to Master Obu
• Balcazar: Thumbs him to death

The Heist

• The fellas grab the workable dollmen bodies and hide in the rock/tree spot. They all make skin suits out of the Dollmen's skin, each with varying results
• They proceed to the base of the big mountain, only to find that its an illusion and hiding a massive prison complex. Lots of Daidrin Gaioforce emanating throughout, especially from the complex's centerpiece: a tower resembling a giant antenna, TEEMING with dark energy and the Daidrin Gaioforce
• The fellas dick around the prison for some time, seeing the various labor camps and humanoid rights violations. They primarily seem to be constructing magitech weapons & fixing defective toys
• They come up on the detention center itself, as the tower is in the center of that. They begin plotting their entrance. 
• Draconius is haunted by dark shadow-like entities, who crave the return of Stonius' soul to the Underworld. Draconius effectively tells them to fuck off
