The Daidrin Expedition
Post Betrayal of Sharpjaw & Nolya (B&T Chapters 12-13)
The Gaiobros had a vast change in direction after their betrayal of Sharpjaw and Noyla. While those two suffered their own paths as detailed in Darkjaw , the Gaiobros fled Vas Dregas to forge the ingredients of the Ouimarot cure in a volcano in Maku's Landing. On their way out, they were given a tip by a kobold to raid Valder's Mountain, the hoarde of a Young Red Dragon trying to earn his name. This tip was a trap to bring rich opponents to Valder's doorstep, but the gang managed to kill the dragon and take all his riches for themselves. Amongst this hoarde, they found a Goblet of Teleporation, and used some of Nolya's hair found in the war carriage to teleport their whole party to Gotharamor. The Betrayal of Gothicca & Realignment of Quests (GB Chapters 14-16)
With the cure in hand, the Gaiobros convince the dwindling town guard to let them see her when they brought the cure. As payment, they each took a dosage of Gaioforce extracts (incense, dildos, etc.), starting their path towards being Gaioforce users. However, betrayal is in their blood, and Draconius killed Gothicca to claim her soul for Thalonius. The gang escaped the village and spotted Dr. Plaezus in the trees, a death cleric dressed in plague doctor's clothes/armor and the true culprit behind Gothicca's illness. They somehow convince the obvious villain to join them as they flee to the Underworld. Draconius leads the group to Thalonius and hands over Gothicca's soul. The party realigns their goals after their newfound magic and completion of their last quest. They decide that they want to go after the Gaiostones, and after considering where they are, choose to collect the Daidrin Gaiostone. They rested, woke up outside Thalonius' layer, then took one of the Frost Glaives as something linked to the region. They used the glaive and their final charge for the Goblet of Teleportation and got to Cyregnor .The Arctic Wastes (GB Chapters 17-23)
The gang explores the Cyregnorian tundra, encountering mammodons & ghost towns galore. They learned of the Frost Elf, Mammodon, Frost Giant & undead societies that litter the continent. They found their way to Vilsafar and lost Stonius to an icy ravine on the way. Distraught, they drank in a tavern and met the Dealer, a con-artist game master that gambles on games with fun & dangerous prizes/consequences. Fork also became the Tavern King. After a struggle in escaping the Blood Scouts (vampire spawn police), finding new religion (Obu denounced Testudo and chose Danos), and hunkering down in the Vilsafar Grand Library, the gang stumbled across a pocket dimension containing the Moonfather's Castle. As they explored, they met two elven children radiating with necrotic & cold magic; The Boy & The Girl, respectively. They play the role of CPS, rob the castle of knowledge, fight the arrogant Moonfather and narrowly defeat the powerful sorcerer. Turns out, the man they killed was a Moon Phantom of the real Zaelim the Moonfather , made permanent after the Moonfather became an archfey. They claimed ownership of the castle, learned about Wizard Santa's Christmas humanoid trafficking operation, freed some prisoners to guard the castle, and decided to head north with the children to find Santa's Workshop. Obu tried to teleport here previously with the Wish Card, but it was protected by an anti-teleportation field. Before they left, they made a new friend, Chazzle: a saxophone-playing mammodon barbarian that joins their quest. The War on Christmas (GB Chapters 24-30)
The Gaiobros follow up on a tip from Wizard Santa himself, disguised in Vilsafar. They solve a holiday riddle leading them to the Isle of Smiles, a private prison operated by misfit toys enhanced by magitech. They seek a North Pole Transponder Beacon, a magitech device that can bypass the teleportation & proximity barriers at Santa's Workshop. They breach the prison's various defenses, but Chazzle leaves to find his long lost tribe and due to personal issues with Master Obu. While undercover in the prison, the Gaiobros find a busty lizard woman locked in a cell, later named MB. They receive sexual favors and break them out, then climbed the tower in the center of the prison to find the Warden's Office. Along the way, they see prison labor mass producing magitech weapons. They enter the Warden's Office, MB provides sexual favors and gets a shadow cumshot to the face. The Gaiobros kill the Warden (a Goliath-doll construct) while contending with his wall cannons and Jack-in-the-Box traps. Afterwords, MB grabs armor and their famed longsword, then the gang dips out. After the escape, MB joins the Gaiobros on their quest north, following in their holy quest from their patron Sevuctus, the Demon God (genderless) of lust, to fuck as many people as possible. The gang breaches the defenses of Santa's Workshop, stealth their way through the Decked Halls while tripping on drugs, and had MB fuck some guards while they snuck up the Partridge Tower. The Gaiobros break into the bedroom of a married couple to encounter Wizard Santa & Mrs. Clause. After a hard fought battle and the death of Draconius Moanius, they mentally break Wizard Santa by killing his wife and tricking him into thinking he did it. They break the crystal ball containing Wizard Santa II's evil soul, breaking his hold over Wizard Santa III and condemning the soul to the Denowraiths. The Denowraiths claim this soul and Draconius' as well, but Master Obu uses his service to Danos to convince them to allow one last visit from Draconius' spirit. Master Obu pulls a switcheroo and Soul Swaps Draconius for Wizard Santa, creating Wizard Moanius and condeming Wizard Santa to the Denowraiths. Meanwhile, MB rapes the unconscious Wizard Moanius while shapechanged as Wizard Santa. The Shadow Triad (GB Chapters 31-50)
During their downtime after claiming the castle, Wizard Moanius delivers presents and completes the first Christmas without humanoid trafficking in centuries, and released all active slaves from the Christmas criminal empire. Commander Kringle ordered the St. Knights on a week of global operations to liberate the slaves from their most recent & prevalent customers, but called the operation once they were needed to fortify Santa's Workshop. Wizard Moanius also receives a call from Thalonius, who uses some of his dragon blood vials & Stonius' soul to resurrect Stonius in Draconius' old body. Thalonius forges a pact with Stonius and ends his previous one with Moanius, since he has adapted the path of wizardry from hs new body. MB fucks many Frost Gnomes that were once serfs to the workshop, and during various parties, the Gaiobros learn about the Shadow Triad , the dark faction of three powerful undead that hold the Daidrin Gaiostone at the North Pole. They also explore the castle, get new items, and craft new magitech for themselves.Lady Gaelica, the Undying Warlord/Lord Darkjaw, the Wrathful Pharaoh (GB Chapters 31-35)
On the day of the invasion, they throw a massive party, inspiring the St. Knights & Frost Gnomes to march north for the Daidrin Gaiostone. The Shadow King interrupts by projecting into the room. He taunts the Gaiobros and the hopeful party of Christmas troops, but Fork punches the projection away. Shortly after, the Fractal Generator atop the tower is struck by a Meteor Swarm conjured by the Shadow King. The outer walls are invaded by Lady Gaelica (general of the Shadow Triad) leading her undead army. In an upset victory with smart tactical decisions, the Gaiobros defeat and destroy Lady Gaelica; they take her weapons, with Obu taking her sword. A day or two later, after outfitting their war carriage and sleigh with various magitech weapons, along with some corruption of Master Obu by the Aetherbane (Gaelica's sword), the undead army was reclaimed by another source in the Shadow Triad to overtake the workshop. The Gaiobros took the St. Knights, Christmas Clerics & Frost Gnomes on the few days march to the North Pole. On their way there, the Shadow Army engaged the St. Knights again, led by Lord Darkjaw, the Wrathful Pharaoh. After a lengthy battle against the undead horde and the loss of many men, the Gaiobros defeat Darkjaw and his undead warbeasts, in a reunion that went different than they expected. They finally arrived at the North Pole to find a city, the vast capital of the undead, NecropolisNecropolis (GB Chapters 36-41)
The Gaibros "sneak" into the city with various levels of success, stirring the pot of guards but eventually being welcomed through its gates by the Death Minister. The Death Minister informs them on the Initiate Program, which allows the living to peruse the city of zombies, wights & other undead as tourists, determining whether they would like to move here permanently. Whenever the guests make their choice, they head to the Temple of Rebirth for their trials. Those who fail the trials or choose not to join the undead are killed and eaten by the citizens of Necropolis. As such, the Gaiobros engage in much dickery throughout the city, including bar shenangigans, fucking and robbing a vampire, learning of Darkjaw's presence within the city and "the Caring Pharaoh's" work with Soul-Touched Zombies (undead made from a soul pulled from the Underworld and fused with a random corpse). After an emotional reunion with a figure from Stonius' past in the Opulent Conservatory, the gang makes their way to the End Games, a coliseum organization responsible for dangerous entertainment & gambling. The guys enter Rexy (recently suffering possession from Lady Gaelica) to fight against Lord Darkjaw (taking on the Lamarvagon form the former wins while the latter escapes the area in cowardace, abandoning his post as commander of the Roving Shadows by doing so. While Darkjaw is hunted down by Jaw's Hand, the special forces unit he created himself to serve at his side, the Shadow King comes to claim Rexy for himself and send the newly reformed Lady Gaelica to begin her war preparations across Cyregnor. The Shadow King taunts the Gaiobros after tempting their desires, successfully completing MB's transformation into a Blauri Gaioforce-user in exchange for a harem. He invites them to come join him in his domain, goading them to enter the Temple of Rebirth & ascend to Zalcovia.Zalcovia (GB Chapters 42-50)
The Gaiobros stroll through the Temple of Rebirth as entitled as usual, completely disregarding the dangers they were walking into. After gathering some information in Zalcophet's study (the mummy lord predecessor to the Caring Pharaoh), they complete their knowledge-based trial to get teleported into Zalcovia, the religious center of Necropolis. Upon traversing the mummy-infested ziggurat, whom strangely were not attacking their visitors, the gang ascended to the throne room to find Queen Solya, the Caring Pharaoh. After many choice words of emotional catharsis from both sides, Queen Solya tempts the gang with deals to make them undead in exchange for the Gaioforce, of which only MB accepts (becoming a Death Knight). The gang disregards Solya any further and makes a wrong turn, assuming that the Daidrin Gaiostone would be closer to the Heart Chamber (basement of Zalcovia) than the Everstorm Plateau (peak of Zalcovia). They come face to face with the dracolich Gothicca, an undead recreation of Nolya's matron dragon using her corpse & a mangled version of her soul (made by Solya with the Soul Reform spell, using her memories & soil from Gotharamor). After a quick fight that would have likely ended the Gaiobros, MB makes a deal with the dracolich; they will capture Draconius (the target of Gothicca's wrath due to his role in killing her; fled during the battle) and bring him to her in exchange for their lives. After some in-party struggles that lead to MB betraying & attacking the Gaiobros (swiftly killed with Solya's amused observation), the Gaiobros link up with their old ally Chazzle and resolve to kill Gothicca instead of turning over Draconius, reuniting the party under one goal. After a Long Rest & a successful surprise attack with their Winter Bomb, the gang narrowly manages to kill Gothicca once and for all, then briefly rests after scavenging her corpse. Master Obu, Draconius & Balcazar notice a magical vault that Gothicca was guarding & attempt to open it, triggering an attack from Solya the Afterfairy & Darkjaw the Scalp Warden (known as the Caring Pharaoh/Dread Queen & the Undying Huntsman at the time). After a hard fought battle and the physical destructions of both Solya & Darkjaw, the Gaiobros fell one by one to their enemies power & lingering minions, leaving Chazzle to finish off their foes and make a mad scramble to open the vault. However, he did not have the arcane knowledge to crack the combination before the lock reset, ensuring the safetiy of the Mummy Lord Heart beyond it and guaranteeing Solya & Darkjaw's survival. Chazzle leaves to drink his sorrows away in the Dead's End tavern, while the Shadow King takes the Gaioforce from Balcazar, Draconius & Fork's souls. The souls themselves move onto varying fates: Balcazar's soul gets sucked into the Claw of Madrakor for undead shenanigans, Draconius is taken into eternal servitude of Thalonius alongside his best buddy Stonius, Fork passes onto the Alcoholic's Afterlife (AA), & Master Obu's soul is mangled & reworked to build the recently undead Sevira into Princess Sevira. Tragically, Chazzle is soon killed by Lady Gaelica during the Ascension Of The Shadow Triad .
