Gods of Gaion - outdated

The gods of Gaion are extremely powerful & immortal beings that hold dominion over Gaion in various ways & aspects.

The Elder Gods

The Elder Gods formed from the first cosmic particles (presumed to be from the Big Bang) that collided to create Gaion.
  • Aurovi - God of Life & Light (killed by Denothis during the Divine Wars)
  • Denothis - God of Death & Darkness (killed by Aurovi during the Divine Wars)
  • T’Nar - God of Time (left Gaion to catalog the universe)
  • Gaios - God of The World/Elements (killed by the other three during the Gaioforce Extinction)
Once they developed sentience, the Elder Gods fought each other for domain of Gaion in prehistoric times. This ever-present war took form in horrific natural disasters across the world; countless specieis of life wiped out shortly after being birthed into existence, a war of life & death itself. Eventually, Gaios proved to have the strongest domain over Gaion, so the other three forged a temporary alliance to destroy him. They killed Gaios by detonating him into five pieces with the highest outburst of their powers; this explosion destroyed & terraformed the other planets in the Gaion System into the five realms we know today. Each piece of Gaios was concentrated of a different cosmic components (matter, energy, dark matter, dark energy, antimatter). They forged these pools of Elder God essence into the primal Gaiostones, then threw them into the planet's surface.

The Titan Gods

The Titan Gods (sometimes refered to as the Titans) were the primordial children of the Elder Gods, born from the conception between the Elder Gods whilst "entangling" amongst the primordial elements & forces of the planet. The Titan Gods were imprisoned or destroyed after the Gaioforce Extinction. The deities who were in "shared custody" of Auvori & Denothis (Waryuk & Torthan) were destroyed by both parents, while Rogna & Jalar were imprisoned in the Thugoran Chaos (by Denothis) & Skies of Hytheria (by Aurovi), respectively.

    • Waryuk - Born from Aurovi, Denothis & Gaios. Goddess of the Primal Seas, appears as an watery elemental kraken of unfathomably gargantuan size. Krakens exist as the titan descendents of Waryuk. The remains of Waryuk are undersea pools of divine water, both the flesh and blood of the once titanic deity torn apart by Aurovi & Denothis.
    • Vulkar - Born from Denothis & Gaios. God of the Prehistoric Flames, appears as a fiery elemental tarrasque of unfathomably gargantuan size. Tarrasques exist as the titan descendents of Rogna. Imprisoned in the heart of the Thugoran Chaos, but grants some of the power for its ever--burning flames & volcanoes.
    • Torthan - Born from Aurovi, Denothis & Gaios, God of the Ancient Lands, appears as a earthern elemental tortoise of unfathomably gargantuan size. Tortles exist as unique descendent of Torthan, and Dragon Turtles are believed to be the inspiration from Torthan & Waryuk. Killed by a combined assault from Auvori & Denothis, smashed to divine pieces ranging from large boulders to entire islands. Some of the smallest pieces sat for thousands of years before eventually becoming the first tortles.
    • Jalar - Born from Aurovi & Gaios. Goddess of the Old Atmosphere, appears as a stormy elemental dragon of unfathomably gargantuan size. Imprisoned in the heart of the Skies of Hytheria, but grants some of the power for its ever-blowing winds & storms.

    The Ascension Gods

The Ascension Gods are the seven deities born to mortal & Elder God parents (Akana, Gar’gomaut, Dahli, Neviros, Hytheron, Thatos & Cyr). After the destruction or imprisonment of the Titan Gods by Aurovi & Denothis, dragons ruled the world as its dominion and terrorized mortal humanoid civilizations & beast populations alike.

    History (partially canon)

Akana & Gar'gomaut were born first amongst the First Seafolk & Primal Giants. Dahli & Neviros were born afterwords amongst the First Elves, which would eventually split into separate factions and species (Sun Elves, Moon Elves, & the heathenous nature loving Wood Elves) to survive in the dragon-rich world.   Dahli (first daughter of Aurovi) killed Neviros at the climax of the the Sun & Moon Wars, spreading his essence over Cyregnor & jamming the Daidrin Gaiostone into the center of what is now known as Cyregnor, creating the permanent magnetic North Pole. This impact also destroyed Dahli's Staff of the Permalight, sending the Goultani Gaiostone flying into the atmosphere and eventually crashing down to Hythenos. Dahli decided not to seek out the stone, as she felt unmatched power she wished to explore without the stone's "limitations". Hythenos (demigod sone of Aurovi) became the first human to wield a Gaiostone and used its power to ascend. Gar'gomaut led the giants in war against the dragons to claim their dominion, both sides feasting on humanoid societies during their centuries long war for control. During this Gigadragonomy, Thatos & Hytheron ascended from orcs & humans using the Rouzhai & Goultani Gaiostones, respectively. Four gods (Hytheron, Thatos, Akana & Cyr) led their respective races against the dragons, giants & Gar'gomaut, while Dahli allowed her divine children (Syna, Jaga, Molrag & Maku) to handle the war as she focused on dominating her own realm. Gar'gomaut began claiming the island chunks of Torthan and converting more of the ocean into terrestial mass. This resparked the centuries-long conflict with Akana & her pantheon, one that goes as far back as the Primal Giants who rose Esgaron to the surface. who systematically warred against the giants gods & their deities invading their seas. During this conflict, Tatamoui, the Sea Giant goddess of Islands & Storms, was killed by Akana's children. Akana then willed a genocide against the Sea Giants & Primal Giants that still existed within their seas, being near-completely success apart from those that escaped to the Ominoid Realm. As for the Sea Giants living upon islands and coasts, Akana cursed them after the war to become modern day cyclops. Akana took many of the newly created land masses back herself, using the Blauri Gaiostone to sink large swaths of land into the sea & convert them into water. The war ended at the South Pole, the heart of the gradually shrunken Esgaron as Akana took back territory. Akana used the Aurotriton, her trident (containing the Blauri Gaiostone) to rip the Garonis Gaiostone out of Gar'gomaut's chest, flinging it far into the ocean. The stone eventually crashed and terraformed the surrounding ocean into a biodiverse & matter-diverse island chain, now known as the Seregan Islands. Akana then channeled all her power into the Aurotriton and impaled Gar'gomaut in the chest where his stone once was, driving him into Esgaron and decimating the entire continent in a dark matter explosion. All of the continent was converted into seawater apart from scattered pieces, which became islands of the southern oceans. The South Pole, however, sunk to the bottom of the sea and was completely corrupted by the Blauri Gaiostone, creating a vast crater followed by a tunnel system/structure built out of Dark Ice & Blauristone. Gar'gomaut's gargantuan body remains pinned to the oceanfloor, both beneath and part of this alien structure encompassing all of Esgaron's capital giant society. While always considering surviving Sea Giants to be a threat to oceankind, Akana & her pantheon turned inward to their own societal matters. With Gar'gomaut & the giant homeland destroyed, the tide quickly turned against them. The Ascension Gods led their people in offensives against giants & dragons alike. Thatos conquered the continent where the Rouzhai Gaiostone landed and named it Thagoria, holding a divine empire amongst the land and killing or "domesticating" all giants & dragons left on his land. Thatos kille

    Ascension Gods in Order

    • Akana the ??? - Seafolk Goddess of the Oceans (Blauri Gaiostone). Birthed from a merfolk, cecailean or cratoan (crab people) mother (the legends are split, which causes conflict between the races) and Auvori, conceived in a pool of Waryuk. Aurovi drew the essence of the Ominoid Realm into the conception, inherently tying Akana to it.
    • Gar’gomaut - Giant God of the Land (Garonis Gaiostone). Birthed from Denothis fucking the volcanic trench of lava & magma at the South Pole of Esgaron, where the Garonis Gaiostone landed. Denothis drew the essence of the Thugoran Chaos into the conception, inherently tying Gar’gomaut to it.
    • Dahli the Sunbringer- Sun Elf Goddess of the Sun (Goultani Gaiostone). Birthed from a Sun Elven mother and Aurovi in the summer desert sun on top of the mountain where the Goultani Gaiostone landed), the place that eventually became Solternia. Aurovi drew the essence of the Aurovian Wilds into the conception, inherently tying Dahli to it.
    • Neviros the Midnight King - Moon Elf God of the Moon (Daidrin Gaiostone). Birthed from Denothis by ???. Denothis drew the essence of Darthalheim into the conception, inherently tying Neviros to it.
    • Thatos the Disaster Lord - Orc God of War & Chaos (Rouzhai Gaiostone). Birthed from Denothis by ???. Denothis drew the essence of the Thugoran Chaos into the conception, inherently tying Thatos to it.
    • Cyr the Frost Maiden - Frost Elf Goddess of Death & Cold (Daidrin Gaiostone, secondhand). Birthed from Denothis by ???. Denothis drew the essence of Darthalheim into the conception, inherently tying Cyr to it and replace his previously fallen child. Pantheon information already moved to Cyr's article
    • Hytheron - Human God of the Sky (Goultani Gaiostone, secondhand). Birthed from Aurovi by ???. Aurovi drew the essence of the Skies of Hytheria into the conception, inherently tying Dahli to it.

    The New Gods

The children of the Ascension Gods, born to their divine parents and the immortal races of the immortal planes (Hytheria, Aurovian Wilds, Ominoid Seas, Underworld & Thugoran Chaos). They are sometimes referred to by the immortal race they descended from (Demon/Devil Gods, Angel Goddesses, etc.)

Gar’gomaut’s Pantheon (Ascension God of Giants, Land & Matter)

Once ruled the Aurovian Wilds & Esgaron, killed by Akana via destructive slam into the bottom of the ocean with her Aurotriton.
    • Rag'nor, Fire Giant god of Volcanoes: imprisoned by Thatos in the Thugoran Chaos. Fire Giants now live & dominate volcanic biomes, only competing with Rouzhai-savvy orcs & occasional dragons for territory. Fire Giants often worship Thatos now, if they follow any worship at all.
    • Rathuum, Stone Giant god of Earthquakes, twin of Erethak: killed by Thatos. Stone Giants now live in scattered tribes across Hythenos & Thagoria.
    • Erethak, Stone Giant goddess of Mountains, twin of Rathuum: killed by Hytheron. Stone Giants now live in scattered tribes across Hythenos & Thagoria.
    • Heig’aroth, Storm Giant god of Storms: killed by Hytheron. Storm Giants either fled to the Skies of Hytheria (swearing fealty to Hytheron's pantheon), the Ominoid Realm (swearing fealty to Akana's pantheon) or live as nomadic wanderers of the seas, islands, coasts & mountaintops. They became hermits to avoid detection from either set of deities, only meeting up to mate. The Storm Giants that stayed away from the seas devolved into Cloud Giants, holding only some of the power & mystique they had with their old connection.
    • Ouimat, Forest Giant goddess of Grasslands & Forests: killed by Dahli's children. Dahli's pantheon cursed the Forest Giants after the war to become dimwitted & more savage than the others, becoming the Hill Giants we know today.
    • Tatamoui, Sea Giant goddess of Islands: killed by Akana's children. Akana cursed the Sea Giants after the war to become the cyclops we know today, becoming dumber, losing their amphibious attributes and only bearing one eye.
    • Sthogurd, Frost Giant god of Tundras: killed by Cyr. Frost Giants live in artic tundras, taigas & mountains on the northern & southern part of the world, such as Cyregnor, Northern Vulsemar & Southern Hythenos. In Hythenos, they are separated from humankind by an echanted ice wall, forever enhanced with the Goultani Gaiostone to emit a magic/Gaioforce disrupting pulse of sonic energy. This does not prevent physical harm to come to the near impentatrable ice wall, but it prevents the Garonis magic practiced by the Frost Giants to affect it in any way. The wall is guarded by the Giant's Shield, a centuries-old order of paladins serving Hytheron's pantheon and swearing their lives to keep the giants from breaching the wall.

Hytheron’s Pantheon (Old God of the Sky Angels, Humans, Skies & Energy)

Once ruled the Skies of Hytheria & Hythenos, locked into a time reversal curse by T'Nar. His avatar remained trapped in its pre-divine, demigod form, unable to access his power from beyond the Astral Fog. Before reclaiming Thurgalir (his double-sided maul with a lightning spear point), he fell in battle against the dwarven King Narvon, who formed the largest dwarven empire in history after finding and wielding it. Due to his dramatic death at the ironic hands of a dwarf (his least favorite race/divine creation) wielding his own divine weapon (which the dwarven ancestors created for him), Hytheron's soul erupted through the Ethereal Plane (inner layer of the Astral Fog) as a chaotic, storm-powered Godwraith. After destroying countless Denowraiths and causing random/destructive weather events in the mortal realm, the Godwraith was defeated and captured by Danos, who holds his spirit for unknown purposes.
    • Aethelia - Angel Goddess of the Stars
    • Lupio - Angel God of the Moon: killed by Cyr in a legendary fashion. Artwork depicts her holding Lupio's dying, freezing body with her Claw (weapon housing the Daidrin Gaiostone) through his chest. Their devil & angel wings, respectively, holds them up in the night sky, perfectly eclipsing the image over the moon.
    • Zabriel - Angel God of War & Hatred: killed by Damathrax as depicted by ancient art (the demonic Damathrax holding Zabriel with two arms while ripping his wings off with the other two)
    • Persora- Angel Goddess of Love & Compassion
    • Aqari - Angel Goddess of Tropical Storms, twin of Ortheus: killed by Akana's pantheon during the Divine Wars
    • Ortheus - Angel God of Terrestrial Storms, twin of Aqari. After Aqari's death & Hytheron's disappearance by the end of the Divine Wars, Ortheus became the God of Storms while respecting Akana's dominion over the seas.
    • Vulca - Angel God of Fire: killed by Thatos' pantheon during the Divine Wars
    • Rathos - Angel God of Earthquakes
    • Murthis - Dwarven God of Metal & Craft. Born from a drunken night of Hytheron's victory sexcapades after the Gigadragonomy. He eventually fucked a short & stout woman, who eventually birthed the first dwarf. Appalled at his embarrasing creation, Hytheron condemned Murthis to craft his personal army. The divine influence of his growing power spread the initial curse of dwarfdom throughout Hytheron, which caused most women that were pregnant at the time to birth dwarves. Hytheron directed his holy citizens to use the dwarves as slaves for crafting, whether it be weapons, armor, tools, architecture, etc. Not respected by Hytheron or the rest of his pantheon, leading the dwarves to be more secular than holy. They also resent humans because of this. (underneath him are lesser deities to represent each metal). It also led to the eventual Dwarven Revolution led by Murhis & his children during the Divine Wars, where the dwarves organized and drove off their captors for good. They claimed the mountains of Western Hythenos as their domain. Ironically, the Goultani Gaiostone would eventually land in the Sholai Mountains at the end of the Divine Wars, right in the heart of Dwarven territory. Murthis signed the Divine Treaty/Accords and permanently moved to the Aurovian Wilds (occassionally expeditioning to the Thugoran Chaos for materials), while his children forwent potential godhood and lived as demigod scientists & archmages, studying the limits of its capabilities and the Goultani Gaioforce. It is believed that this intensive study is what led to dwarves being the most magitechnically advanced race on Gaion, rivaled only by the Banatarian Sun Elves and the orcs of Old Thagoria (the homeland of Thatos, where he first birthed his empire). The Council of Murthis eventually disbanded over time as the demigods passed on to the Aurovian Wilds as archfey/lesser deities to spread craft & creativity.

Thatos’ Pantheon (Old God of War, Disaster & Orcs. Rules Demons, Orcs & Goblinoids)

Once ruled the Thugoran Chaos & Thagoria, locked into a time reversal curse by T'Nar. His avatar remained trapped in its pre-divine, demigod form, unable to access his power that lies beyond the Astral Fog. His plot to re-ascend plays out in Season 2 of GaioCorps.
    • Damathrax - Demon God of Rage & Hatred . Four-armed & natural plate-armored demonic monster, leader of the Thugoran Army. Imprisoned by Hytheron during the Divine Wars, released by and loyal to Thatos during the Perniam Wars.
    • Goru - Demon God of Fear. Often takes demonic drider form (half-spider, half dark elf), or the form of whatever the viewer fears. Imprisoned by Hytheron during the Divine Wars, released by and loyal to Thatos during the Perniam Wars.
    • Sevuctus - Demon Goddess of Lust & Pleasure (while encouraging addiction). Often takes the form of whatever the viewer most desires. Neutral to Thatos during the Perniam Wars
    • Neris - Demon Goddess of Plague/Disease, Rot, Disgust/Taboos. Often takes a hybrid slug-octopus form, or the form of whatever disgusts the viewer. Neutral to Thatos during the Perniam Wars.
    • Zorn - Demon God of Greed. Often takes snake or Yuan-Ti form. Rebels against Thatos during the Perniam Wars due to wanting his fleet of warships for himself.

Dahli’s (former) Pantheon (Ascension Goddess of Angels, Elves, Sun & Energy)

Once ruled the Aurovian Wilds, and all of Dalterra. After the Divine Accords were proposed, she left to travel through space & build the Solar Imperium, her gods now roam free in the Aurovian Wilds or the mortal plane
    • Aoira the Birth Maiden - Fey God (genderless) of Birth, acts as a sentinel to the Allheart and the midwife of souls. The Allheart is the last divine piece of Aurovi, which births raw, cosmic energy from the universe with each beat. ??? crafts new souls from these beats and determines where souls are sent in the Gaion system based on her will, as in whether they grow within mortal bodies or grow as immortal spirits.
    • Syna - Wood Elf Goddess of Temperate Forests, Growth & Happiness. Wanders the Aurovian Wilds as an unaligned fey god upon Dahli's abandonment after the Divine Wars.
    • Jaga - Jungle Elf/Fey God of Tropical Rainforests, Biodiversity & the Hunt. Wanders the Aurovian Wilds as an unaligned fey god upon Dahli's abandonment after the Divine Wars.
    • ???- Bog Elf/Fey Goddess of Swamps. Killed by Cyr's pantheon during the Divine Wars. Bog Elves are now more prone to follow darker or mysterious fey/otherworldly powers over a divine being, but usually are pushed towards the secular & arcane matters of the world anyway.
    • Maku - Sun Elf God of Summer & Drought. Imprisoned by Hytheron in a Celestial Hourglass in the Skies of Hytheria during the Divine Wars. The Celestial Hourglass is manned by Hytheron's pantheon and spreads drought to whatever area on Gaion that it points to.
    • ??? - gnome deity

Akana’s Pantheon (Ascension Goddess of Seafolk, Oceans & Dark Matter)

Rules the Ominoid Sea. Ruled the world's oceans prior to the Divine Wars.

    The Minor Gods (Greater Deities)

The children of the Planar Gods or of unique methods of Ascension-god birthing. These are the last beings in the hierarchy that can have Clerics/Paladins to serve in their name. However, it is not uncommon for these beings to instead give fractions of their power through warlock pacts; only the worthy can serve as their Clerics or swear oaths as their Paladins. Most of these are already listed under their respective pantheons, though the unaligned ones are as follows:
    • Testudo the Wandering Shell - Tortle Fey God of Travel. The First Tortles were born when Gar'gomaut fucked a chunk of Torthan, spreading it to volcanic smitherines across the island. The pieces, whether on land or in the sea, formed into the first tortles, their arms, legs, tail & head poking out the sides like a hatching egg. These tortles knew not what life was and found themselves without a home, so they wandered. Some wandered into each other and mated to spread their race, and aged slower the more they traveled the land and sea. The First Tortles guided their people by the tenents of free global travel, gaining knowledge & experience wherever you went. Over their many years of existence (pre-Gigadragonomy), all but one of the First Tortles died out; this tortle was the most traveled of them all, and ascended to godhood in trust that the people he ushered into their place in the world would continue to follow his teachings. Testudo currently wanders the Aurovian Wilds, but makes ventures to the other realms as well.
    • Savann the Elephant Queen - Loxodon Fey God of Peace
    • Pronoxus the Pentaphant - Mammodon Demon God of War
    • Viko - Half-Orc/Half-Sun Elf God of the Sun. Born to Thatos (as Lord Goruk, his demigod form) & Hyla/his Sun Elf mother. Rebels against Thatos at the start of the Perniam Wars, ascends to godhood and defeats Dahli at the end of the Perniam Wars.

    The Pagan Gods (Lesser Deities)

Immortal beings who have achieved godhood through means other than divine bloodlines. They are not true gods, but often wield power rivaling that of the Greater Deities and are worshipped as such. Beings of this rank are powerful enough to create warlocks, but can only grant limited power to one Cleric or Paladin at a time. Archfey, Archdevils, Archangels, & Demon Lords are Pagan Gods within the divine hierarchy. Demigods like Hytheron & Thatos fall under this category as well, at least while they remain in that form. Many religious & arcane scholars debate whether these entities truly count as gods, and as such makes this category broad and subjective.
    • Thalonius the Twinned Terror - Red & Black Two-headed Demodragon, becomes a Pagan God/Demon Lord during and after Ascension of Thalonius
    • Zaelim the Moonfather - Moon Elf Archfey
    • Kranalla the Dank Mistress - Lizardfolk "Great Old One". Kranala is the only known immortal being not of this world. Rather, she is an alien lizard of powerful cerebral magic with vast, otherworldly collections of knowledge. It is her shared truths that imbued Balcazar's village with many of their big brain innovations. However, opening these pathways within the minds of her people drove them on their own pursuits of knowledge and innovation. Nowadays, they have a highly innovative fungal farming operation and several other innovations, all while Kranalla feeds on their knowledge via her swamp brain tendrils. The smarter they get, the danker their Mistress becomes.
    • Cthesus the Mind Shepherd - Illithid (Mind Flayer) "Great Old One". He led a large pilgrimage of the rare arcane illithids, along with select non-arcane mind flayers, from the Underdark to the surface world, desiring mysteries and adventure outside of their isolated lives. Upon leaving the Underdark, their insidious appearance, psionic abilities and arcane gifts drew mistrust from everyone they encountered, leading to fear at best and violence at worst. Eventually, Cthesus and his most arcanely gifted followers cast a portal to the Skies of Hytheria, to which them and the other survivors hopped through. They established several small settlements amongst the mysterious mountainsides that lay beneath the clouds. Since Cthesus showed these illithids a new life and place to practice the arcane magic shunned by their Underdark brethren, they worshipped him as their Messiah, eventually crucifying him at the peak of their home mountain as the eye of a storm collapsed on him. Two days later, he returned to them as an immortal being; a Celestial Illithid imbued with celestial & storm magic. He spread this new subrace to his followers, changing them to have similar (though less powerful) abilities as his own.
    • The Shadow King - Moon Elf archlich. The Shadow King falls under this category due to the near-absolute control he holds over the Daidrin Gaiostone and his shadow lichdom. The people of Necropolis (and technically Old Cyrofel) worship him as a lesser deity.

    Changes to Incorporate

Restructure of the Ascension Gods (organized in order of age) 1. Gar’gomaut (deceased): God of the Land & Giants 2. Akana: Goddess of the Sea & Seafolk 3. Dahli: Goddess of the Sun & Sun Elves 4. Neviros (deceased): God of the Moon & Moon Elves 5. Thatos: God of Fire, Destruction & Orcs 6. Hytheron (deceased): God of the Sky & Humans 7. Cyr: Goddess of Ice, Death & Frost Elves     General themes of the Planar Gods   1. Gar’gomaut’s children (all deceased): represented the different giant races & the aspects of land that they governed 2. Akana’s children: represent the different Seafolk races and the aspects of the ocean that they govern 3. Dahli’s children: represent the different elven subraces (excluding Moon, Dark & Frost) and the aspects of the Sun and/or life that they govern. 4. Neviros: didn’t have children 5. Thatos’ children: represent the different races of Thagoria (such as goblinoids) and the aspects of destruction that they govern (war, personal demons/negative emotions, destructive influences, etc.) 6. Hytheron’s children: represent the different aspects of the sky. 7. Cyr’s children: represent the Moon & Dark Elves and the aspects of ice & death that they govern.     Domain reassignments of the Elder Gods   1. Aurovi: God of Life & Light. The life domain has been split amongst Dahli’s & Akana’s children, with some specific life forms falling under the domain of powerful archfey. The light domain has been woven into the inter-dimensional weave of the Gaion multiverse. 2. Denothis: God of Death & Darkness. The death domain has been taken by Cyr & partially distributed to her children, while also allowing certain Archdevils & Demon Princes (highest form of demon lord) influence over it. The darkness domain has been woven into the inter-dimensional weave of the Gaion multiverse. 3. Gaios: God of Space (3 dimensions of spacetime) & Elements. Both domains were either consolidated into the Gaiostones upon their creation or woven into the inter-dimensional weave of the Gaion multiverse. 4. T’Nar: God of Time (4th dimension of spacetime) & Knowledge. Both domains were split into T’Nar’s three new forms of existence after the Elder Wars: Stuvanis (Time God of History, Archaeology & Paleontology, splintered across the past/dualistic deity with Prafina), Prafina (Time Goddess of Foresight & Prophecies, splintered across the future/dualistic deity with Stuvanis), & Prolexer (Time God of Discovery, traversing the known & unknown universe to catalog knowledge for the Eternus Archive). T’Nar’s children (born or adopted, like Murthis) embody different aspects of knowledge & creativity.     God death   1. When a god is killed, their immortal soul is shunted into the Astral Fog, becoming a godwraith as it consumes the ethereal essence of the near-endless plane. Memories of the god’s name and impact on the world are ripped from the minds of mortals who did not worship them. For mortal followers of the god’s faith, they forget the deity’s name, but not their impact on the world. Clerics, paladins & immortal followers of the god’s faith remember everything they already knew about the deity. Pre-existing scriptures & other records of the god’s name, tenets and impacts remain intact, so most of the gods who have died are still remembered through these methods. 2. A godwraith can only be resurrected through the simultaneous ritual sacrifice of all their extant followers that innately remembered the god’s name. Only Ascension Gods & below can be resurrected in this way; Elder Gods did not leave godwraiths behind when they died, and the divine essence of the deceased Titan Gods is too primal to reform with this method.
