The Marmorial
The instigating and losing side of the Toxin Wars. The Marmorial formed in secret before the wars began, with the Uroda hiring the majority of the Bolurin and Yagan's long standing friendship with the Wubin bringing them into the fold. When the time came for the Closing of the Claws, the Wubin were to stay back and ambush the Corroboree as they were sailing across the Burraneer Songline. This was much more of a stalemate than the Marmorial would have wanted, as the Corroboree had the Striata attending their army.
This wake up call to there forces being insufficent led to the quick recruitment of the Chleana, and the Marrayagong once the Hamang became involved. As the Marrayagong became more involved and most of the southern races turned to join The Corrolition, the Horrida were quick to sign up to the Marmorial. Having anticipated this massive swelling to the Corrolition's ranks, the Marmorial reached out in secret to the Phasko and planned their northern preemptive strike. The Tuataras never saw the ferocious attack coming, and were cut down in droves - successfully keeping them out of the war.
The trade-off of this success drawing more races to the Corrolition was balanced by the Kororā throwning in with the Marmorial. Their forces were successful and aggressive at holding the territory they controlled, but they did not push for more territory right away. Instead they planned their invasion of the Crypsis Sea since the Walumil had declared their neutrality. However when the time came for the invasion, the Marmorial were completely blindsided by the hitherto unknown Leafies. This was the turning point, with such a large expenditure repelled the Marmorial began to suffer losses that only mounted as those final four years of the wars dragged themselves to a bloody end.
