Grox

Grox is the primary deity of most Aligotarians, and some Ribaultians. He is a trustworthy and reliable individual, but can breakout in unruly fits of rage. However, his ability to fight against the foes of the Swampland's has granted him his godly stature. Ever since his siblings betrayal, he has become callous towards the other gods, and often finds enemies behind every tree.

Forms of Worship

Warlords across the swamps often donate percentages of loot from pillages in his honor, as a way to grant them more strength and power. Most who pay lip service will consume freshly hunted food in his honor, or will cover themselves in white warpaint before charging into battle.

Lore

Grox gained foothold from early Aligatorian warlords and SpruffTuks by forming coalitions and relying on ambush tactics against his enemies, often in their own provinces. Even after surviving several hunts from Tranorn hunting gods, there was little that could stand toe-to-toe with him on the field of battle. During the defensive battles of Kasantha Swamps he had gained larger swaths of popularity and prominence amongst the established deities.

Relationships

Grox has two unknown siblings who are not named. They had betrayed him on the field of battle turning against him to end his life, but he was able to emerge victorious against his fellow siblings and his original opponent.
Many Warlords today claim to be descendants of Grox.
