Temple of Sagitta

The Temple of Sagitta was founded after the The Free People of Nebu was first organized as a way for Nebuians to worship their long-held belief in Sagitta as the primary deity in their day-to-day life, without paying lip-service to an adopted form of Sagitta, practiced by other religions and governmental organizations. It is the only religion in The Free People of Nebu in which it's followers are not taxed.

Worship of One

Sagitta is currently the only god given reverence or worship. While belief in other gods exist, it is unknown if there were any deities other than Sagitta worshiped, for their existence is never mentioned in oral tradition or survived cultural influence upon other cultures to the effect Sagitta had. Nebuians may have never developed a script or language of their own, or methods to translate ideas or symbolism to objects as they were enslaved or captured during most of their existence on Sigom. Though rare, some Nebuians denounce Sun worship entirely as they feel these beliefs were imposed on them by masters of the past, an unpopular opinion to most Nebuians.

Mixed Codification

The Temple of Sagitta has sought to codify the worship and lip service of Sagitta. While historically most worship is believed to have happened before noon, they place worship directly at noon, when Nebuians would be most visible to Sagitta. This form of worship is seen as a form of "inviting" Sagitta to their communal feast, as they relied on Sagitta's light for sustenance. When spreading their practices to other temple leaders, most had implemented these methods with varying results, where some would make drastic changes or alter poses/stances in which you can sit and pray. Without scriptural backing it has been hard to enforce a "one-way" of worship amongst the population.
