Abáhans
The abáhans1 are one of the seven tribes of Tederans that make up the Ptivamanaktem Alliance in central Karatvánamb Forest of southeastern Túlmikkía. Their territory is centered on the city of Okvú by the eastern shore of Ehaká Lake to the west.
Abáhans originally lived in the Iritífe Mountains to the south and were close allies with the únúlans there, but eventually migrated to the Túlmikkían Great Lakes due to pressure from the neighbouring Fúmi in the mountains, and later became the last tribe to join Ptivamanaktem.
They are unusual among the other tribes within the alliance for relying more on raising livestock and fishing than agriculture and were semi-nomadic by the time they joined, with Okvú originally functioning as a place where bands met at certain times of year to trade and perform rituals. Since then, abáhans have slowly begun to adopt more sedentary lifestyle, though they still generally prefer antelope hides- and milk in exchange for yams and rice rather than growing the latter themselves.
Abáhans are known for their intricate tattoos and designs woven in their clothing, are based on the same ones they used to paint on rocks and cave-walls before migrating to the lowlands.

Warfare
Due to their proximity to the Vevúni, traditional enemies of the tederans, conflicts with the latter are common and warriors from other tribes in the alliance often fight alongside abáhan ones to prove themselves in battle and acquire captives.1Original icelandic: Abáhar, singular: Abáhi.
