Pakric1 is the language primarily spoken by the Pakrans in the jungles and highlands of Pakróalx, the northwestern province (alx) of the empire of Resak in southwestern Laxilþía.
It's divided into numerous dialects of varying intelligibility, notably ajókic along the northeastern coast of Úrtal Sea, gróltic between the upper Velx River and Talran River, and húlpakric among the Húlpakrans in Dalra across the Úrtal Sea. While húlpakric has diverged quite a bit from the laxilþían dialects, the latter have slowly become more similar since the rexan conquests.
Pakric has recently become quite fashionable among the Rexans, especially the younger generation, much to the chagrin of the elders, who revere jatrilnúxan tongue instead.

Writing System

Pakric is traditionally written using one of several variations of an alphabet derived from the one used by the Enans in eastern Dalra. The pakric alphabet in turn was adopted by the jatrilnúxans, a variation of which is now used to write Rexlas, language of the rexans.

Geographical Distribution

Pakric is primarily spoken in northwestern Resak, though small communities of pakric speakers found throughout the empire.
