Talran
Rexlas: Talran
The Talran River1 is the main tributary of the Noron River in southern Laxilþía. Traditionally, the two rivers mark the eastern edge of pakran civilization and now form the boundaries between Pakróalx to the west and Apan-Ódolalx to the east, both provinces of the empire of Resak.
Most of the inhabitants along Talran belong to three main groups: Pakrans to the north, particularly around the city of Efþíxis, and Rexans and North Hótics around Vamnis to the south.

Geography
Talran originates in the midwestern Katark Mountains of central Laxilþía, whence it flows south until merging with the Noron River. Travel across the river has historically been by boat or fording, as the local pakrans had little interest in allowing their hótic rivals easier access to their city-states, and it wasn't until the rexans began expanding their empire into hótic territory that the first bridges were constructed across the Talran.
