The exploration of Vardura by the Second Echwink Expedition has begun to piece together a narrative of what happened on this continent in the 500 years since the issuing of the Decree Against Foreign Discord.

500 years ago, the Vardurans issued the The Decree Against Foreign Discord barring any contact with outsiders for the duration. In 1110 AC, this document expired. Inspired by his deceased father Walden Echwink, Chaus Echwink now leads Echwink Expeditions and exploration efforts on that mysterious island.
