Volandria

In the center of Machar lies the sweeping plains and farmland of Volandria. Ruled by King Edmund IV, the nation remains stagnant. The upperclass laze about, living off of their riches while the common people toil in the fields and the ship yards. 
The Volandrian terrain is extremely fertile and covered with farms that produce the majority of food for Machar. 
The shipyards of Olympia produce the finest vessels in all of Machar. Sought after by all nations, they are a main export of Volandria. Researchers in Shoto are currently working on a method that would allow for Volandrian ships to take to the skies. In Mukar'rib, olympian ships are used as Sand Skiffs to cross the desert.
The majority of the Volandrian population are working class, and thus don't put much thought into what they wear, but the upperclass enjoys flaunting their wealth. Obnoxious gowns of all colors, shapes, and sizes decorate the rich and are seen as symbols of the upperclass lifestyle.
