The Ursine Tribe
Culture
The Usine Tribe like most of the neighboring tribes and clans of Tidemane are a people of honor and strength. Living in the colder regions on the southern face of the Nephite Peaks the Usine are well adapted to the harshness of the higher altitude with many traditions and competitions being centered around aspects of their natural area that one might not be able to find in other tribes of Tidemane. Similar to the U'hane in the east the Usine tribe is a very spiritual and superstitious group with symbolism for many portions of their lives. Many believe that the U'hane and Ursine tribe have similar ancestry due to the shared cultural significance of tattoos where in the U'hane view tattoos as marks of persistence and honor, tattoos in the Ursine tribe are often prayers to gods or spiritual ancestors to protect them in battle and in life.
