Introduction to Gorakin

Gorakin are a race of powerful Demigods ruled by a never ageing child of Gora the nature god, named The Father as he is the father of the entire race. He had seven children creating the seven bloods, the seven bloods are seven different lines of Gorakin each granting the Gorakin possessed of that blood different powers. For example, if you had the blood of Vi running through your veins you could have an iteration of the ability often referred to as the strength of Gora giving you immense strength. As a proud race of Demigods at least the father thought himself above the creatures of his mother’s creation, Gorakin have a long history of conquering and crushing other races under heel most of the land of gora a massive feudal region about the size of Europe Africa and Asia has been subsumed into the gorakin empire. Gora is a part of the larger hive territories and the larger Marena air pocket.

Who is the father and how powerful are the Gorakin?

The Gorakin represent a mighty martial force across the three isles able to be deployed easily to quell rebellions. The father's presence makes that mostly unnecessary his power so feared that it's like a shadow across the minds of those people that live in the three isles. Their armies can gather to conquer new lands without being noticed, having both power and the element of surprise.

Vi is often known as the blood of strength, vi is the most common gift. the blood gives the welder bursts of increased strength, agility, and weight

Gu the power of telekinesis the gorakin born of this blood can move objects without touching them but only if they are close to the user and do not weigh more than the user

In the power of heat the gorakin born of this blood can heat their body so hot that it melts becoming like magma how they survive the experience is still unknown and how they can still move at those temperatures is unfathomable

Mal the power of cold the gorakin born of this blood can freeze themselves below absolute zero again how they survive the experience is still unknown and how they can still move at those temperatures is unfathomable

Ro the power of creation/transformation the holiest blood the user of this blood can create objects based on the amount of material in their stomach plus excess fat

Sha the power of electricity the gorakin born into this blood can generate lightning from their skin and also gains the abilaty of Electroreception

dr the power of healing the wielder of this blood can heal themselves or anyone they touch at a relatively slow pace, a broken bone would take about 1 hour to heal or twice as long for someone they are touching

The Gorakin types

their are three gorakin types each with different anatomy. Type One Type one Gorakin are quadruped with eight limbs four arms and four legs. They the most common gorakin type Type Two Type two Gorakin are bipedal have four limbs two arms and two legs, like humans. They are not as common as type one Gorakin but still common. Type Three Type three Gorakin are bipedal have six limbs four arms and two legs. They are the least common and considered somewhat holy

Their positions on other religions: Gorakins despise all other religions that don't worship Gora, they find the idea of people worshipping other idols insulting, at it's most base conceptual form. However they do let a few select religions continue to exist within the Gorakin Empire; the worship of The Rover from humanity, the worship of the Jajnuka and the Jnuk. And although great efforts have been made, they have not yet squashed out the worship of The Great Hunt from The Bavugai.

Lifespan: This depends on how close they are to The Father, if they are further and more generations below The Father, their lifespan can be as small as two hundred years. But The Father and his direct descendants have not died since their birth more than two thousand years ago. The Father's age is unknown, but he is suspected to be over ten thousand years old.
Type One Height: Between five and six feet. Type Two Height: Between six and seven feet. Type Three Height: Between eight and nine feet.
Burial Customs: When a Gorakin dies they are buried in the dirt with no casket. However the places they are buried, do not contain insects or worms which would eat their corpses, they have large burial yards which are mostly sterile. Their graves are not marked by a stone but instead at the entrance, the names of all the Gorakin who are buried there is carved.
